Okay, here it is!! (I found a recap here in case anyone's interested)

Rewatching this reminded me of how excited I was when S2 started *sigh*

I loved how Digby helped them in the first scene so that they wouldn't accidentally touch. "A canine proximity alert" Yay Digby!

I love how Chuck says "things will go better if you wear less clothes", naughty Chuck trying to get him naked And Ned can't stop looking at her

And I love this scene 'cause she can touch him:

This cracks me up:

Chuck: Don't offend the bees.
Ned: How... would I offend the bees?

Emerson has one of the most hilarious lines in the episode: "I'm so sorry for your loss. And I do accept credit cards"
He was ready to run again when he thought Kentucky was still alive in the morgue, I love how he sort of starts to panic "Is she still breathing?!" lol.

Ned: Could that have happened to me, on the roof? Could I have been swarmed? In my underwear, too. I could have been swarmed in my underwear!
Emerson: Hey! You don't just get to put them pictures in my head! That's an assault on my imagination!

This part is so cute:
Chuck: What if he was made entirely out of bees and that's why she couldn't see his face, because he didn't even have one? What if there's a whole beefolk society who walk around shaped like people?
Ned: You're thinking about how you can train your bees to walk around in people shapes, aren't you?
Chuck: Yeah

Chuck has the craziest ideas

Ned and Chuck looking at each other

This is probably the saddest line in the episode:

Olive: "I'm tendering my resignation and resigning my tenders to the cold, harsh reality of what's not meant to be"

Chuck: "I'll stop walking in on you doing things you don't want me to know you're doing" I was like I couldn't believe they went there!

When Vivian goes to the Pie Hole and Ned keeps her outside and says it's closed I think it's the last time we see his eye twitch Did he do it again in any other episode of the season?

I love this scene:
Emerson (to Chuck): He is stalking you.
Ned: You don't think I'm stalking you?
Chuck: Why? Are you stalking me?
Ned: That depends. Now that we're living our new parisian lifestyle, does that mean I can't be close when danger's afoot?
Chuck: I feel safer now that you're here.
Ned: Then this isn't stalking. It's just good, old-fashioned chivalry.

He's so cute

And Olive in the nunnery was so funny "Forgive me father, for I'm going to file a police report on all my worldly possessions"

And the last scene is so romantic, Ned getting all her old things for her. He's the best boyfriend

What did you guys think?

Thanks for your recap with the quotes and pics

I read that TV.com recap last weekend and the next couple, but they were starting to get confusing at times. The little additional stuff you add in helps a little

If something is confusing about the recap, we can discuss it here

Okay, you asked for it

(And it's okay if it's too difficult to explain. I'll be seeing this in 2 months, anyway)

Quote:
Chuck realizes that Kentucky sabotaged the hives using mites, not "might," but Betty insists that it was simply an accident. She grew up bees at her home, which she describes as her Honey House.
Does that mean that she grew up with bees at her house or that she currently has bees at her house? And which 'she' is that referring to, Kentucky or Betty?

Quote:
Chuck assures them she can find the key the next day, but Ned doesn't say anything about the danger: he insists that it's Chuck's life.
What does this mean?

Quote:
At the company, Chuck goes into the office to find that Ned is there: he's taken the place of Betty's assistant after tainting his pie.
Does that mean that Ned wanted to be near Chuck and so he made sure that Betty would be in need of an assistant by doing something to a pie that the real assistant ate or something like that?

Quote:
As it turns out, the bee figure spit a container with the queen into Chuck's mouth and they nested on Chuck, who remained calm.
How exactly did this just happen to land in her mouth? Is it just that her mouth was open and "bee guy" used that opportunity to get her covered with bees?

Quote:
He used the queen bee and its container to kill Kentucky for revenge
So, he basically did the same thing to her that he did to Chuck, except she wasn't as calm as Chuck was? And that was him that spit the queen bee container into Chuck's mouth, right?

Betty grew up with bees at her house. Betty and Kentucky were working together to sabotage Betty's Bees. Betty stole the bees and moved them into her old house, the "Honey House".

Quote:
Chuck assures them she can find the key the next day, but Ned doesn't say anything about the danger: he insists that it's Chuck's life.
They had a conversation about Chuck moving out of Ned's apartment and into Olive's, and Ned wasn't really excited about it although he tried to hide it. He doesn't say anything about the danger because he's trying not to be too overprotective and let her make her own decisions, it's her life.

Quote:

Exactly.

She screams and the "bee container" lands in her mouth The bee guy was trying to get the bees to attack her, but because Chuck knows about bees she remained calm (unlike Kentucky) and so the bees didn't see her as a threat, but as a nest of sorts.

Quote:

Yeap.

Yay S2! Great episode, though not one of my favorites from S2.

Loved:
-Olive's meltdown and the beginning of Olive and Lily at the nunnery (these two just balance each other out especially with Lily's extreme snark )
-Chuck's outfits, hairbows and getting a job with bees.
-Ned and Chuck's new "parisian" lifestyle
-Emerson calling out Ned's clingy-ness as a stalker
-Ned and Chuck's adorable happy bounce b/c the Aunts left their home for the first time in forever

Really? It kinda reminded me of their happy bounce at the end of Circus, Circus which I thought was better.

It just felt kinda forced, like "look how adorable they are" Their happy bounce in Circus, Circus is definitely better, especially Chuck
