Okay, great! I think it'll be good to discuss them again to get us in the mood, and to give the chance for more people to join us.

I'm intrigued by your definition of "some day"

I'll start with the first questions...

What did you think of the episodes? I thought they were great and definitely better than anything else on tv, but not the best of the show.

What's your favorite? Any particular reason? Not a favorite, a least favorite actually: Frescorts. If I say why I'll probably get eaten alive .

Favorite moments? Let's see, the end of Circus Circus with Ned and Chuck role playing , Ned telling Chuck that Lily is her mother, and Vivian going to The Pie Hole and having a "conversation" with Chuck.

Favorite case? Probably the one in Bad Habits. A fake nun in a convent and everyone going undercover trying to figure out what's going on .

Funniest moments? Oh, definitely Ned and Emerson's conversation in the car in Circus Circus:

Ned: It's hard enough being in a relationship where we can't touch. But... we improvise, figured out ways around that. I've even built contraptions.

Emerson: Do you understand how a head works? Do you? Because every time you say something I got to think it. You say "Monkey in a bellhop suit driving a car," I think "Monkey in a bellhop suit driving a car." Don't tell me what you all do together.

Ned: There's a weird mask.

Emerson: Please, now I'm begging you to stop this.

The weird mask thing made me go

And also Olive trying to get Ned to guess the secret in Bad Habits

Favorite lines? Hmm. This would be easier if we had the transcripts . This one comes to mind, from Circus Circus: "For now, the only mood-altering ingredients in this particular pie were the endorphins in Chuck's tears."

More later in the week...

Even though I just saw those episodes within this last week, I think I should see them again before typing up my rewatch since I've seen a bunch of the other S2 episodes since then as well as a bunch of other stuff from other shows and so everything is all mixed up in my brain at this time

Favorite Chuck outfit?

Favorite flashback? Probably the one in Circus Circus.

Random comments: Ned's "confession" in Bad Habits made me cry like a baby.

Bzzz:
Favorite moment: When Olive did her "truth buckshot" speech before she quit.
Favorite Costumes: All the costumes worn at the Betty's Bees office. Especially Chuck's
It seemed as if they started pushing the envelope on how the dead people looked when they were touched by Ned. The bees coming out of Kentucky's mouth was creepy!

Circus Circus:
Was this the episode when Olive had a mouth full of oatmeal and she said if she'd vomit she wouldn't know the difference? I finally got the quote when I watched the DVD.
Favorite moment: When the flame thrower cut off what Ned was saying about Sweet Nicky and Emerson looked shocked.
Favorite costume: All the different types of clowns that came out of the clown car.

Bad Habits:
Favorite Moment: When Ned was reluctant to touch Sister LaRue. The episode reminded me of the tall bell tower in Vertigo. I think this is my favorite episode of the first 4 of Season 2.
Favorite Costume: Ned looked cute as a priest.

Frescourts:
Favorite Moment: Emerson looking into Randy's stuffed animal room! The formaldehyde leaking out of Joe and the mummified football player was another creapy dead interaction.
Favorite costumes: Chuck and Olive's outfits when they applied to be Frescourts with Downy.
Someone on this thread said that Frescourts was their least favorite. Why? Just curious....

That was me. I don't have a specific reason. The episode as a whole just didn't appeal to me and I just didn't find it fun .

Those moments were hilarious. I love how Emerson says "I never heard you say those words" and Ned is like "I'm just repeating them"

What did you think of the episodes? Fun as usual!

What's your favorite? Any particular reason? I think Bzzzzzzz! but I'm not really sure why

Favorite moments? Vivian talking to Ned outside the Pie Hole and Chuck inside the Pie Hole, Ned and Chuck's "first meeting" outside their apartments, and Chuck going to Ned's apartment wearing only a duvet

Favorite case? None of these are ones that I consider to be some of the "best cases", but I think I liked the nun one the best of these.

Funniest moments? Vivian trying to get through the Pie Hole doors with her parasol open, Olive's charades with Ned, and Emerson's reactions to various things that Ned says (especially stuff about him and Chuck)

Favorite lines?

Vivian (about Chuck's "special pillow"): I'm sure it's teeming with fungus and microscopic bugs that feed on flakes of human skin, but she was fond of it.

Olive: I could throw up in my mouth a little and not even know the difference.

Ned: I wake pies and make the dead. That was creepy. I make pies and wake the dead.

Favorite Chuck outfit? Duvet? Oh, um, I mean, um, that flower dress she wore in Bzzzzzzzz and a lot of those promo pics

Favorite flashback? Emerson and his mother

Random comments: Okay, first of all, how can Emerson have a white mother when his skin is fairly dark? I could understand if his skin was a bit lighter, but he looks too dark to have a white parent And taxidermy REALLY freaks me out. It bugs me that Randy does that (although the rhino thing in a later episode does pay off, I guess) and it bugs me that Lily and Vivian are into that stuff too. I have to say that that's the one thing I don't like about the aunts

I agree on both those things . When Ned finds that taxidermy dog that looks like Digby? I almost felt sick.

That's the worst of all the taxidermy stuff IMO 'cause it just looks so much like Digby

When Randy came to the Pie Hole with his stuffed dog, it made you think the worst of him (killing Digby and stuffing him), because at the same time Emerson was finding Randy's feaky room. He sure looked like the killer...a creepy/suspenseful part of the episode. But when you find out the dog was Randy's, I like Randy's question to Ned. If you could keep someone you love after they've gone....wouldn't you? It made me think that Randy and Ned had something in common.

Hey all

So my sister and I finally caught up with the (I'm really depressed to say this) series (I only found out two weeks ago, before I watched season two, that Pushing Daisies wasn't coming back for a third season ) .
