What are your thoughts about this episode?
I think that this is a really good episode, especially for a pilot episode. It gives you background on the characters, goes on with the story, & doesn't seem to go on forever & get boring. Favourite scene? The scene near the end with Ned & Chuck outside The Pie Hole where Ned says that his world would be a better place with Chuck in it, & then they kiss with the monkeys/find the gold. Least favourite scene? That's hard... Probably the start when Digby died, then when Ned's mother died (both times), & when Chuck's dad died. The scenes are fine, they just are sad. Favourite quote? Ned & Chuck in The Pie Hole after he brings her back to life. Ned: You can't touch me. Chuck: So a kiss is out of the question? Ned: I just lost my train of thought. Favorite character(s) this episode? Chuck & Emerson probably. They had some of the best lines Least favorite character(s) this episode? The guy who killed Chuck? The funeral director? :P lol I have no idea... DeeDee isn't nice, but she is still a little funny... Rate this episode on a scale of 1 to 5 1 being bad, 5 being brilliant. I give the episode a 4 |
Oh awesome! This is a great idea! :D I'll go do this!
|
I wish :ff: had an option to add a poll, that would be much fun too :D

A poll would definitely be easier than essay questions

I rewatched the episode with my sister today, she loved it as well:lol:
What are your thoughts about this episode? I LOVED it, everything the weird colors, the cinematography, the dialogue, its great and its unique, it has comedy with quite a lot of sadness once you think about it :sigh: Favourite scene? The hand-touching through the wall scene? I sighed out loud at that scene  the scene where Ned first touches Chuck and brings her back to life how color suddenly appears in her skins :sigh: also the shot of the pies at the beginning from above cause its just bursting with color. Least favourite scene? Not sure really, I like all the scenes but if I had to choose then maybe the whole over the top yellow flowers against the blue sky at the beginning, simply cause the colors are too out there for me the contrast is way too high and theyre gonna take a lot of getting used to  Favourite quote? Chuck: I'm a friend of Ned's. Olive: Does he touch you? okay maybe not the deepest quote but I just love the delivery there :D also the quote Chuck gives him about 'what if you need a hug' Least favourite quote? Ummm ... I ... dont know? nothing particularly cringeworthy in this episode :) Favorite character(s) this episode? Ned  Least favorite character(s) this episode? Ummm ... dunno? no one? except you know ... the murderers :P Questions and speculations? I asked my questions in the pilot discussion thread when I first watched 2 months ago and I speculate greatness :D Any other comments? stupid tv people cancelling all the great shows :irked: Rate this episode on a scale of 1 to 5 4.5? simply cause some things take getting used to :) |

Finally catching up with this before the month ends :yay::lol: What are your thoughts about this episode? I love this episode, especially the introducing of the characters and Ned and Chuck's background story, the narrative is great and fascinating. This episode wasn't the first PD episode I watched but I can say I would have fallen in love with the show if I did too  Favourite scene? Young Ned & Chuck's first kiss, what if you didn't have to be dead, Ned making Emerson hug Chuck and many more :sigh: Least favourite scene? I don't think I have one. Favourite quote? "I’m not a big fan of the hug." "Then you haven’t been hugged properly. It’s like an emotional Heimlich. Someone puts their arms around you and they give you a squeeze and all your fear and anxiety come shooting out of your mouth in a big wet wad and you can breath again.":sigh: and "I'll be so mad if you're lying. You'll have me scratching the drapes!" "I'm not lying. Please don't attack the window treatments." :lmao: Favorite character(s) this episode? Ned and Chuck Least favorite character(s) this episode? - Questions and speculations? Did he really set the truck on fire himself? :D Rate this episode on a scale of 1 to 5 Andrea, mine is 5 :in_love: |
