Pushing Daisies Calendar of Obscure Holidays #1 ~ Is It World Hello Day?
Pushing Daisies Calendar of Obscure Holidays Chuck: Guess what day it is today? Ned: World Hello Day. Chuck: Oh, you finally put up my calendar of Obscure of Holidays! Ned: Yes, and "hola"! That’s Español-a. Chuck: "Merhaba", "selamat pagi", "o-si-yo"! That’s Turkish, Indonesian and Cherokee, although the Indonesians really says "Good Day" which I think is much better than "Hello", because what does that say? That says "I’m here, your turn to talk"! Kinda selfish. Currently: December Source __________________

Thanks hun
Okay, let's start! Today: October 24th United Nations Day This day recognized the United Nation organization and all who serve and participate in this world organization. The United Nations is dedicated to world peace and to the betterment of humanity through a wide range of program from world hunger to environment and health issues. Almost all of the more than100 countries in the world are members of this organization. Make a Difference Day - fourth Saturday of the month, an opportunity for neighbors to help neighbors. Initiated in 1990, this is a national day is for devoted to helping others by doing volunteer work in the community. The activity can be almost anything. Millions of Americans participate in community improvement projects. It takes the form of cleanup, fixup, painting, and repair in poorer neighborhoods, parks and municipal facilities. It doesn't matter what project you take on. It doesn't matter whether you help a non-profit organization, the community, your town, nursing home, a church, a food kitchen, or any other group in need. What matters is that you participate. National Bologna Day National Bologna Day is a full of baloney! Properly spelled Bologna, it is sometimes spelled "Baloney". It is pronounced like the latter spelling. Bologna is a sausage. It's commonly used as a luncheon meat. Mom and kids know it well. When it comes to bologna, there definitely is variety. There is what you and I would call regular Bologna, German Bologna, Beef Bologna, Kosher Bologna, and more. Depending upon the kind of Bologna, it could include pork, beef, chicken, and spices. It's easy to enjoy National Bologna Day . Have a Bologna sandwich. And, don't forget the mustard. Source National Bologna Day __________________
