This made me laugh, in EW, talking about Glee, they have an 'equation', we made the cut Goes like this:

The whimsy of PD + [the crazy train that is 90210 - the fashion of Gossip Girl] + High School Musical * Jazz hands = Glee

Reader’s Poll recaps: Folks looking forward to ‘Community,’ missing ‘Daisies,’ ‘Terminator’ most

It’s been quite a month, between season finales, network upfronts and the untimely (as well as timely) deaths of struggling shows whose bubbles were burst.
That’s where our most recent readers’ poll, between May 17 and 21, came in. We asked, “What canceled show will you miss the most this fall?” Two shows in particular that lost the only poll that really counts—the poll of network programming executives—won this one.

True to form, this was yet another poll that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles fans were determined not to lose. And those those Pushing Daisies devotees are still grieving the loss of their piemaker and just wishing they could revive him with a touch.

The two shows tied for the poll lead with 29 percent of votes cast each.

Of course we'd like to touch the piemaker revive the show!

Pushing Daisies: #9 in the Romance Hall of Fame Sci-Fi TV Couples Category
The most lovable non-tactile twosome on TV, Ned the pie maker and his reanimated childhood sweetheart Charlotte "Chuck" Charles made conversing with corpses look cute for two seasons before the highly-stylized show, much like the dearly departed whose suspicious deaths were solved on the series, met its untimely end.

As sweet as the honey cultivated by the leading man's beekeeper beloved, Pushing Daisies is the surrealistic tale of Ned, a baker who possesses the power to bring the dead back to life, if only long enough to collect clues which will lead him and his private eye partner Emerson Cod to their killer.

Although one touch is all it takes to nudge the deceased from the netherworld, his paranormal prowess comes with a price-- if Ned does not return the dead to their former state by touching them a second time within one minute, another life will be taken in their place. This practice doesn't pose a problem until the pie maker hears of the demise of Chuck who, once awakened from her unnatural slumber, joins the crime-solving business with her hero-- the man she can never touch again.

9th? There are 8 couples more romantic than Ned and Chuck? I really doubt that

aw for a show that only lasted two seasons, it's great to see widespread support and love (even though c'mon Ned and Chuck are far more romantic than most couples on TV these days)!

OMG listening to the Paley panel thing, I'm squeeing my head off over here... hearing the famed baby discussion, and hearing little Ned talk (more than one word).. hee!

oh, the Paley audio....

though every time i listen to it, whenever they squee about the "network backing" they have and how ABC loves them, i cringe and curse at the powers that be.
it makes me so sad, how we all once had such faith....

I might wait to get the US DVD, as I don't think the UK version has any extras?
