We know that this episode has already aired in Germany, and a few posters have seen it and/or read recaps. And since the episode has aired it needed a discussion thread

Moonie and I would like to ask that everyone try to keep most of the discussion about this episode and the next two to the discussion threads, and use spoiler tags in other threads. This is to be fair to all the posters who either want to wait until the episodes air in the US or at least until there are undubbed versions.

Kathi, me too. We definitely need threads. I neet to vent somewhere.

I loved 2x11 already. I wasn't very keen on the dubbing (but you take what you can get), however the story made up for it. I loved the whole arc throughout the season with Emerson trying out different partners for his PI thing.

It was really fun, and I think I loved the references to a comic hero the most of all in this episode.

Okay I'll be honest here and pray I don't get flamed for this *clears throat* What they tried to pull in the last scene completely ruined the episode for me. For me, playing with the idea of Nolive used to be fun, but the actual idea of it happening, is not. It was too close to the end, with no time to solve it. Ned and Chuck's love should be special, not tainted with any of this real life complications things, IMO. And honestly Ned seemed a bit out of character in this episode for me, both in the writing and Lee's performance. I get that he and Kristin were probably having fun with it, but Ned used to jump three feet whenever Olive got close and now he has no problem with her sitting on his lap, kissing her and everything? Yes, I get that they were pretending, but he seemed too relaxed to me

Having said that, Ned and Chuck holding hands and a real high five was so, so lovely

And I liked that Chuck was the jealous one this time.

Yeah, I liked the "I'm Clark Kent" thing, and I laughed when Ned was trying to figure out what Clark would do, and asked Randy and he said that Clark would just turn into Superman or something like that

I've always enjoyed watching Nolive's friendship and seeing them become better friends, and even though this episode did make it seem as though they might be planning to go down the relationship route, I think Ned's jealousy was simply a response to what Olive potentially now has with Randy, as he wants that with Chuck. That's what I've interpreted it as anyway, and I hope it does remain as innocent as that, as the show has invested in the Ned/Chuck relationship so much since the beginning of the show.

I'd heard about that scene a while ago, so I'd been looking forward to seeing it. They are too adorable together!

2x12 is airing here in the UK tomorrow, and then next week for the finale I have a group of friends coming over to watch with me and eat pie

I'm going to try and bake one myself, but I'm usually a disaster in the kitchen!

I agree with what you guys said about Ned/Olive, though I always knew they were going to explore that since realistically Ned can have with Olive what he can never with Chuck.

I think if the show were to go one for more seasons then I might get on board with N/Olive even though N/C will always be first by far for me, but I agree that it was somewhat of a quick turnaround of Ned's character even though we did see some hints the beginning of this season (like in Bad Habits).

Definitely, they were building up to it that's for sure. But when they didn't get the rest of the season, it couldn't go anywhere. Fuller said that they were going to spend time strengthening N/C's relationship after they shook it up so it frustrates me that we never got to see that.

It's just, the contrast of Ned being so happy he can hold hands with Chuck, telling her she's his hero and all, and then the last scene?

no, i feel the same way. i first and foremost ship N/C, though the end of the episode made me squee because i am OTP for lee/kristen as BFFs. lol.
i feel like the ending would have set up such amazing conflict (and eventual conclusion) that it breaks my heart even more that we'll never get it.
