What has Chuck taught you?
Anna: That the longer you stretch out the flirting, the better the goodie in the box will be.
I love falling in love with Anna Friel.
She's great. She's a pleasure to fall in love with. -Lee Pace

First of all, I loved the fact that my character
was called Chuck. I was like I want to play a girl called Chuck. –Anna
I am so appreciative of working with someone like Anna.
She works so hard and is not one of those actresses who is happy to
just look pretty in front of the camera. –Lee Pace
[About Chuck] It’s a mixture of her being so warm and so hopeful.
And also having balls. She's not a pushover. -Anna

I'd kiss you if it wouldn't kill me.
Do you think dying has made me morbid?
I've been ruminating and by ruminating I mean
pondering, not chewing cud.
:star: Reasons :star:

B/c she's incredibly charming and delightful
B/c she's "freckly cute but certifiably fiesty"
B/c our new shopping motto is: What would Chuck wear?
B/c she can solve a murder case in a dress and heels
B/c Anna's british accent is adorable
B/c she is not afraid to talk about "knickers" in public
B/c she looks cute even she's drugging your pie
B/c she's an adventurous urban honey pioneer
B/c "she's the heart of the show" -Kristin Chenoweth

I'm entirely a tactile person. As soon as I get to work, I like to give people
a big hug...I sometimes don't notice and touch Lee and he says,
"Anna, you're dead." Yeah, that's not good. -Anna
You're like Winnie the Pooh. Gimme me your paws Pooh
I turned her into a homeopathic drug mule.
It's like an emotional Heimlich. Someone puts their arms
around you and they give you a squeeze and all your fear and
anxiety come shooting out of your mouth in a big wet wad.

I hadn't seen the OP in a while, it's so pretty!

funky_chick 05-18-2010 09:28 PM

I know. I end up not looking at OPs very much, so it always surprises me when I see them

Saw a few minutes of Land of the Lost the other night. It's still so weird to hear her accent 'cause I'm so used to how she talks on this show

calling me home 06-06-2010 07:16 PM

that would be weird probably  (not having seen it, i wouldnt know exactly :P)

funky_chick 06-06-2010 08:16 PM

Well, I only saw a couple minutes, so I'm not sure what I think about the movie itself (or even what it's about). But, yeah, I had heard her accent in some PD interviews, of course, but it still kinda takes me by surprise when I hear it

calling me home 06-07-2010 06:30 PM

 oh thats the best way to watch movies :P just watch parts, or a few minutes, of them

...of course the PD interviews, i havent even noticed it when i have watched any though

Anna Friel chooses acting roles that 'terrify' her

British actress Anna Friel has revealed that she always chooses acting roles that “terrify” her.

Friel, 33, who recently starred in the West End adaptation of Breakfast At Tiffany's, is best known in the UK for her role in the 1980s soap Brookside.

Talking about her acting career in an interview with a UK magazine, she said: 'I try to mix it up. I always choose something that's going to terrify me a bit, and I've always played dramatic roles because there is a shelf life for every actress.

'So I thought the best thing I can do is give myself longevity by being a character actress and not just a pretty face.'

I guess that sounds good for an actor... Though I can't imagine PD as being scary

funky_chick 06-13-2010 10:09 AM

I guess playing someone who's technically dead can be kinda creepy

calling me home 06-14-2010 12:27 AM

:look: other than playing a character who is technically dead i dont understand how PD is scary either

funky_chick 06-14-2010 09:28 AM

Well, maybe she's not including Daisies in what she's referring to
