Here's the latest:

Quote:
With today’s news that CBS has opted not to pick up Moonlight for next season, Moonlight fans have been asking what we can do next. The idea of a postcard campaign, in addition to calling and emailing, seems to be the most popular and viable option for requesting that another network pick up our show.

To make this as easy as possible for fans, and to provide a united front, we’ve created a simple .pdf file with two postcards that you can print on cardstock and mail in. We encourage fans to write their own “perpetually cool” message on the front, and write the address on the blank side.

Right now we are targeting Warner Bros. (the studio that produces the show) to ask them to find a new home for Moonlight, and the CW, which is rumored to be interested. Here are the appropriate addresses:

Peter Roth
President, Warner Bros. Television
4000 Warner Blvd.
Burbank, CA 91522
peter.roth@warnerbros.com

Dawn Ostroff
President
The CW Network
4000 Warner Blvd., Bldg 168
Burbank, CA 91522-0002
dawn.ostroff@cwtv.com
feedback@cwtv.com

Time is of the essence so these cards need to get to Warner Bros. and the CW within the next 24-48 hours. Overnight delivery is your friend!
Apparently, the sets are coming down this Friday, so please hurry with sending the cards!

Apparently CBS just now issued a statement asking the Moonlight fans to STOP emailing them! So don't waste time on CBS! They already know about the huge following, but they don't want to have it be like Jericho, just to give it a few episodes, then the ratings the same. So instead let's focus on other networks!

BUT some good updates!

Apparently, not only is there CW discussion going on with the Moonlight producers/creators...but TWO other networks, USA and SciFi, are both showing interest! And I hear especially SciFi!

So GUYS please send emails to CW, SciFi, and USA saying that we are all interested in Moonlight and would like it to go to another network! We must act quickly because all the negotiations have till this Friday before the sets of Moonlight are teared down. I would encourage sending email and leaving voice mail on the comment lines on all of these three networks!

Info for CW site/phone line:

email comments here:
audsvcs@cbs.com

call and leave a voicemail here:
818-977-6878

site to leave feadback:
CWTV.com

Scifi contact
SCIFI.COM
feedback@scifi.com

USA network's feedback page [email at the bottom]
http://www.usanetwork.com/feedback/

Those three networks should be the focus, not CBS anymore.

Just thought I'd post this info about the demonstration that's gonna be outside the gates of WB. From Zap2it:
Quote:
Because just as thousands of jilted Jericho fans united in solidarity 12 months ago to flood the Eye Net with truckloads of nuts and notes of protest, passionate Moonlight fans have already mobilized, organizing a demonstation outside Warner Brothers (they produce the show), scheduled to begin today (Thursday, May 15th) at noon. The hope is that Warners will be encouraged to shop the show elsewhere.

"We'll be outside the main gate at 4000 Warner Blvd., near Pass street, across from the big parking garage. We'll be wearing Moonlight-related shirts and welcome anyone who wants to come participate," protest organizer and head vampire (as she's been dubbed by followers) Lisa "Leeser" Gerry writes. Oh, and by the way, they will be singing.
I'm sending emails to WB and CW and I've posted on the CW forums as well. If I were in LA, I would so be at that demonstration, but being on the other side of the world...not gonna happen unfortunately.

I just hope they keep the tone of it friendly and not hostile.

Moonlight fans are pretty sensible IMO. I doubt it'll turn ugly. Leeser from Moonlightline who's organising it seems pretty awesome from the posts of hers I've read over on that forum. Speaking of which, I just tried going there, and I'm getting an error message. Hope it's just a server overload or something.

Yeah, I got the same error saying there are too many connections.

Time is of the essence! The stop order on the destruction of the sets only pushed it back to Friday, so the fans have to make this next 24 hours really count!

I just sent an email to the president of WB, and will send another one to the head of CW in a minute.

I hope they can get the MLL forums back up and running soon, (without losing any of the content).

ETA. the email on Moonlight-United for the head of CW is bouncing my message back. Grrrr.
