I liked this episode... but it definitely wasn't a favorite... *shrug*

Like other posters have discussed... Mick's personality shift etc... I didn't enjoy that... It somehow didn't 'feel' right. Sure I guess they're trying to underscore how much Coraline sets him on edge... but... I just know this wasn't my favorite...

I liked the back story, but not the Coraline in the present thing... For me this is more about Mick learning to live as a vampire now... you know the juxtaposed human vs. vampire conflict he's living...

*shrug*

It was very edgy and Mick definitely wasn't himself - he seemed half out of his head for most of the episode. I guess they wanted to show what Coraline could do to him. And you have to admit that seeing somebody you staked and thought burnt to death 20 years ago suddenly reappear in human guise would be pretty disturbing.

Need to go watch it again! :> (Finally watched the pilot - wonderful!)

Well, we all have our days don't we? Personally, I'm glad to see a different side of Mick. He's vulnerable, even as an immortal vampire.

I thought it was good that we saw a different side of Mick, it shows how layered his character is. I don't particularly like that other side of him but yeah, we all have our days Hopefully he'll get his act together and figure everything out. Coraline totally freaks me out.

Not my favourite episode. I'm really not a fan of the Coraline character. And I really don't like how she makes Mick act. I really hope he'll grow out of it. What I am interested in is what Beth will do when she finds out Coraline was the one who kidnapped her

I really enjoyed this episode. So far the episodes keep getting better and better. I really hope that Moonlight gets a full season pick up once the writers strike is over.

I thought it was good that we saw another side of Mick. Mick is a layered character.

The brief glimpse into the Mick and Coraline relationship made it appear to have been not the healthiest of relationship. Mick appeared to be more obsessed with Coraline, than in love with her. Coraline appeared to be a master of mind games, something she apparently is very good at as evidence by her coming back from the dead and figuratively getting under Mick’s skin. Damn the women knew all the buttons to push to drive Mick batty. I think it is realistic that Mick would be off his game after being confronted by the apparent resurrection of his dead ex-wife. It should be interesting to see how the return of Coraline plays into the Mick and Beth dynamics. What is the importance of Beth in all this? Is it merely coincidence that Coraline kidnapped Beth 22 years ago, and now both Mick and Coraline are somehow involved in Beth’s life? Is there something special about Beth that drew Coraline to her 22 years ago?

The smile Coraline gave after the stare down with Beth at the end of the show was freaky, as the saying goes, “hell hath no fury as a woman scorned” . Me thinks the former Mrs. Is going to wreck havoc with the lives of her former husband and his new love. Mick can hold his own against Coraline. But how the hell is Beth going to survive the fury of Coraline?

Anyone beside me find it perplexing that these vampires don’t secure/protect their resting place? In vampire lore the resting place of a vamp is a private thing, and usually impenetrable/and unknown by others. Yet Josef is apparently able to go in and out of Mick’s apartment at will. Josef is also able to reach Mick’s sleeping chambers undetected by Mick, until he was over his ice box knocking for him to wake up in BC.

A great episode, I really enjoyed it.

Coraline is very interesting to me, she's so creepy, and I like how she screws Mick around, there relationship wasn't the healthiest but they had plenty of chemistry, so it was sold for me.

I loved Josef and Josef/Mick tonight, I love how Josef seems completely reluctant to get involved, and I loved how Mick jumped on the roof without a problem but Josef doesn't seem to have practiced for a while.
Although while Josef get's great lines and I like him, I still don't believe he's 400 years old, Jason is a good actor, but he hasn't sold it to me at all, I blame the writing, they just do throwaway lines that Josef is old in a young mans body, I just can't believe it with the way he acts.

I love Beth and Morgan/Coraline's scenes together, I want more of them.

Overall, won't be on my favourite episode list, but still quite enjoyable.

Loved all the Mick & Josef scenes. Good to learn more about Josef, and the characters really play well off each other.

Jealous Beth! And Mick coming to the realization that she was jealous! Could almost see the sparks as their knees touched in the office scene.

The flashbacks were interesting and helped provide context to Mick's obsession with Coraline. Interested to see how they explain Coraline being able to mask her smell and bleed. Somehow I don't think Josef will take it too well that she was able to deceive him.

Wasn't one of my fave episodes either. I agree with Astra, Mick just didn't feel "right" in this ep. It seemed like he was TOO consumed with Coraline and was pretty much ignoring Beth in this episode.

Panaphone: If Coraline is indeed a "mortal" now, Beth should be able to hold her own with her. If she's not, Beth is definitely in trouble. But like Chris mentioned how the heck did she mask her "smell" and be able to "bleed" if she's still a vampire?

I hope the Coraline storyline doesn't "take over" the show and end up as the main focus in the episodes.

wow, I thought it was a solid episode.

it definately kept me excited and nervous throughout the show..

and when I heard that Caroline was going to show up in this episode.. I didn't like that but I actually think that she's an interesting character.

and to me, Mick and Caroline definately has a chemistry.. I never liked Beth's character and thought she's the only flaw to this show so.. I'm rooting more for Caroline/Mick.(like that's ever gonna happen..)

and JOSEF!!!!! so- cute.

until last week I doubted his role in this show.. but this week, I felt like he's the same actor I fell in love with in VM. so I'm really glad about that..

hope he gets to show his romantic side in this show too..

Siriously I have problems with Jason D as Josef too - I can't put my finger on it, but he seems to be having trouble capturing the nuances of this guy.

I agree, Coraline, is an interesting character for sure. She will add a bit more of an edge, add more darkness to the show. It can't always be so sweet and peachy. Drama show of course. LOL.

I also agree about Josef, I do like him, I think his character needs more time to develop. To me, he does not act like a 400 year old Vampire. How should a 400 year old Vampire act anyway? I cannot quite put my finger on it, looks? How he acts? I do like his character, he needs a bit more season to pull off that 400 yr old bit if you ask me.
