I loved the Mick/Josef scenes in this one. Especially the first one where Josef rudely awakens Mick to ask him for help.

I love Mick being perpetually cool. And them being so very awkward after the kiss.

He was so protective of Beth and he does have amazing self control. I thought the scene where Beth takes the Black Chrystal and goes over to Mick's was really hot.

Mick and Josef drinking at the end was really cool.

^I'm with you about Mick/Josef scenes in this one. This was a great ep for the two. I loved the part where Lola said how much alike these two are. That's so true. And I loved the last scene.

I also loved the first scene at the Valis. Mick telling Beth how she wears well being a human.

And my fav scene was the one where Beth takes B.C. and goes to Mick's. I agree, it was really hot. The shower scene was amazing and I loved the morning after scene. She was so cute embarrassed like that.

Oh, and I really liked Lola. I loved the scene where she talked to Beth, convincing her to take the Black Christal. Overall I really loved this episode.

Whenever I think of this episode, the first thing I remember is Josef banging on Mick's freezer because he was "looking for someone" and Mick saying, "What, you think they're in here?"

The second thing I think of is how very much I wanted the camera to move just a bit before Josef tosses that inconvenient towel inside.

And the third thing that occurs to me is why did Josef toss that inconvenient towel inside? From a TV perspective it was probably to confirm to viewers that, yes, Mick St. John does indeed sleep in his birthday suit. But what was the motivation from a character perspective? Is Josef jealous of Mick's....er....attributes?

Now that I've told everyone way more than they ever wanted to know about my random neural firings, onward!

I agree. Josef would drain me for saying this, but I tend to think Josef is more like Mick than he'd like to admit.

My husband loves that scene. That and the beach scene. It's nice because we're both drooling, but over different people.

That whole sequence was so rare for television. How often do we see scenes that hot where the couple doesn't do the deed? Granted it was broadcast, not cable (I'm not certain cable is capable of showing that kind of restraint), but still......this reminded me of one of the most erotic scenes in memory, the one in Titanic where Jack is sketching Rose, but they don't have sex. I like a good sex scene as much as the next person, but I get bored when that's all I see, like on True Blood. Self control is so much more interesting.
