I liked how he killed her, though. She was obviously stronger and faster so he had to use his brains a bit.

True, but being as fast as she was, she should have been able to save herself from falling into that silver water.

I am still a bit irked about that.

That was a little odd, wasn't it. Because she can evaporate instantly. Only thing I can think of is that he stunned her and she couldn't think; but she seemed to regain what was happening to her when she was in the silver solution.

Could Mick get any more sexy being naked in his "frig" I mean opening scene and I'm going "Oooh-La-La"!!!!!!!

I rewatched the episode last night. And I saw something that didn't make sense.

After everything is done and Lola is killed. Mick is at his desk drinking what looks like scotch. He even offers some to Josef. If he's a vampyre, how would that effect him?

Loved this episode. Found out a bit more about Josef, so that was nice. The chemistry between Mick and Beth is just incredible! As hubby said, considering there was no sex in the show, it's one of the most sensual shows on tv.

Will Beth be able to resist temptation or will she have to try the black crystal again? If there's a next time, will Mick be able to resist her?

Melika - yeah, I noticed him drinking at the end and wondered about it. They drink blood, so obviously they can physically swallow and such, but they do make a point of saying that they don't eat.

I was getting ready to post this very same thing. What???? Doesn't make any sense, does it now.

Hopefully given time, they'll tighten things up on the writing, scripting, etc. That does not make sense. Who know.

It must have been something important to notice though because he was taking them back. Like two or three.

Also they showed the glass and the canester it was in, so I think we were supposed to notice it.

I'm pretty sure that vamps don't really taste the booze that they drink, but they do it anyway.

As for the episode, I was glad to see Josef get some depth and growth, even if it meant he had to lose someone he thought he cared for.

I'm still not one for Mick and Beth as a couple, which made the shower scene hard for me to take.

Anytime I can see Mick and Josef togehter, however, is a good thing.

Wasn't it stated that they don't eat because food no longer tastes good or is satisfying? Perhaps alcohol, while no longer tasting the same as it once did, can still have the same effect it would on a mortal.

I would agree. I don't think that they don't eat food because they can't digest it. But just because it's neither nourishing nor tasty to them anymore.

Maybe having a drink was only like a gesture, you know. He hasn't been a vampire for too long, so he probably had a few drinks after a rough day when he was human. I think it also shows that he still is more human than vampire which is exactly where the storyline and his character are going.

Well, alcohol does get into your bloodstream, so maybe that's how they can still feel the effect, even though the may not taste it.

I was thinking that too, when I watched the episode for the umpteenth time last night.

She still has the BC and she put it away, while longingly looking into the mirror. I think she is starting to see that being a vampire isn't all that bad and it would give her an eternity with Mick. And seriously, who wouldn't want that?
