When written correctly and consistently.

When the writers forgot or ignore that aspect of them to serve plot and punchline, we got episodes like "Winter".

Thank god for a fanfiction.
It's just a "little" unfair that the people who understand the characters and write them properly and with a lot of love and consistency get no credit and the so-called "real" writers can just...well, ruin everything because they're "writers".

I just rewatched the prom episode from season 1, it was so cute how Hyde agreed to go to the Prom with Jackie. I'll take my small bones this season
