I think Hyde and Jackie would've become closer because of her mom coming back. He'd have a lot of empathy for her, and she'd have empathy for him in return -- and they'd realize how much they have in common, after all. They both have alcoholic mothers who abandoned them and absent fathers (for different reasons), and neither of them had extended family who cared enough -- or existed -- to do what their parents wouldn't.

Hyde and Jackie were taken in by their best friends' families. Speaking of, I wish we could've seen Jackie and Bob bonding (again, something we'll see in the comics).

When Jackie and Hyde move in together / get married, what kind of domestic duties do you think Jackie would end up doing? Hyde knows how to cook and bake, does his laundry and the dishes at the Formans', so he'd have no problem with the housework. But presumably since he and Jackie will both have careers, they'd want to split housework evenly. They wouldn't be able to afford a housekeeper at the start, and Hyde might not like the idea of having one anyway (despite his line in that season 5 circle).

I can see them splitting the chores. I can see Hyde doing more of the cooking at first, but I think it would be cute to see him giving Jackie lessons.

Yes. Maybe he'd have a better time teaching Jackie how to cook than Kitty did. I hope so.

All Jackie has to do is pay attention and practice ... and she and Hyde would both need patience. Maybe lots of it.

Yes, Hyde would need to have a lot of patience to teach Jackie how to cook. He enjoyed their Zen lessons though.

True. He spent a half-hour teaching her how to say, "Whatever," as aloofly as possible. Okay, he has a lot of patience -- and so does she to tolerate that.

I think a cooking lesson would be fun to watch. Although I can see a food fight breaking out.
