Zenmasters #141: Because their love is sweeter than candy. And cherry slurpees.
Courtesy of Swede Jackie and Hyde, the perfect example of Opposites Attract He's aloof. She's affable. He likes Led Zeppelin. She likes ABBA. The list goes on. Despite those differences, though, they have what it takes to make it work. Jackie needs an anchor to pull her back to earth when she gets carried away; Hyde needs someone to care for. They were both abandoned by their parents and never really experienced true love. They don't make the perfect couple, but that's just what makes it even more appealing. The chemistry's undeniable and it's always nice to see the softer side of a self-proclaimed 'badass'. They may seem 'creepy and unnatural' to their friends, but to us they seem just ideal for one another. -Originally written by Lucii ________________________________ Wallpaper courtesy of -diana- Collage by ~*Ambrosia*~ ________________________________ *Rules* - No bashing. My title was incorporated!
1. There's a missing moment fic on ff.net, and the second chapter has this line: "I realized I love Steven. He's my new, gorgeous dress." 2. "The Shining"--the book. Psychological, metaphorical, and so suspenseful I nearly wet myself. More than once. 3. Does Hyde's porch count? Because if it does, I'm going "Prom Night." Otherwise, probably "Kelso's Serenade." Ooh, but after watching the DVD, I noticed the first time they touch is, I think, "That Disco Episode." Hyde tells Kelso to take Jackie with her and she gives him an annoyed pat or something before going upstairs. |

Q1. What's your favorite line from a J/H fic?
Could never choose. Q2. What's your favorite scary (short) story? Real? Fiction? I used to get so scared at this story my sister would tell me...about this girl who got locked in the house with a guy who killed her dog. *shudder* Q3. What episode was the first time they were alone in a room together? Umm....could it be....Kelso's Serenade? __________________

question time...
1. "Oh, and Jackie, you are my woodstock."
There was this fic, I can't remember the name, but during the breakup Hyde was writing a letter to Jackie that he was never gonna send and the whole time he's talking about why Woodstock was such an unbelievable experience and he ends the letter with that line. Maybe sappy, w/e, but it floored me. 2. I had this book called Scary Stories with a bunch of short horror stories and it had the creepiest illustrations ever. Like this big horse skeleton. We read it when I went Girl Scout camping (haha, yeah, Girl Scouts) and the pics freaked the hell out of me. 3. I guess Kelo's Serenade, too __________________

Q1. What's your favorite line from a J/H fic?
Okay, I'm breaking the rules here. It's a paragraph. 'She looked at him holding out the two sandwich choices. She knew he wanted the ham. Just like he knew she wanted the turkey. But he would always give her the option. She’d always loved that. She looked at the sandwich and knew without tasting it that it would have just the right amount of mayo and no mustard. Some things they were good at. Suddenly she felt like she was making a decision much bigger than dinner menus. Could she do this? Should she? Would her heart be able to handle a summer alone with Steven after what he had done? She wasn’t sure. But she reached out anyway.' I can feel u from holycitygirl. Q2. What's your favorite scary (short) story? Real? Fiction? Don't know. Q3. What episode was the first time they were alone in a room together? Ski Trip. Donna and Eric were in the bedroom and Fez was outside making snow angels in his underwear. __________________ __________________

Oooo, new thread...
Let's see questions... Q1 Favorite line from a J/H fic. 'They laughed like the friends they never were.' Tania (aka Tanner) Long Hot Summer Q2 Favorite scary short story. 'Sun Dog' and 'Word Processor of the Gods' by Stephen King. Shud-der...till this day both of those stories scare the be-jesus out of me. Q3 Which episode were J/H first alone in a room together? I'd say 'Prom Night' when Jackie cries until Hyde says he'll take her to the prom. I think...shrugs __________________

I took the 3rd question as them alone in his room... ok I'm stupid.
Now Dine and Dash is on. They just showed a promo for the beginning of S6 in syndication, but they made it all about Donna. Last time I checked the main focus of the premiere is Jackie and Hyde. Pssh! |

Ahh Dine and Dash... even though there's no J/H... I love Eric and Donna in this episode.
And I always notice that the host from Season 1 American Idol Brian Dunkelman is the waiter... makes me laugh. Hey Darbi, how are you? |

The Kids Are Alright is mainly about Eric and then J/H. It has, like...nothing to do with Donna. She just sits there lending quiet support to Eric through that episode. How do you twist it to be about her?
