yay s4 has new opening scene! They seem all mature and all. Hyde got hotter! Jackie seems more mature looking.

4x01 - It's a Wonderful Life

This is an okay episode. Eric's dream is funny and I had to say, back in s1, i really thought Hyde and Donna are going to be together they really had potential.

4x02 Eric's Depression

I wished they also included Donna in this episode. I mean sure, we know Donna's depress too but it was too focused on Eric. But I liked the Red/Eric scene! We need more of that

4x03 Pinciotti Vs Donna
This episode is funny. This proves that they truly are a family. But, IMO, the friends shouldn't choose between the two of them and I'm glad they pointed it out. And Let's be honest, Eric's basement is home

It also reminds me of a Friends episode where Ross and Rachel broke up.

I have to comment on this because Hyde's behavior toward Donna in season 1 is very disrespectful and problematic. Donna never expresses any romantic interest in Hyde at all. She tells Hyde that very fact -- and "No," -- many times and that she's interested in Eric, yet Hyde continues to pursue her. He ignores what she wants because of what he wants. He forces a kiss on her in "Ski Cabin" (1x13), an invasion of her physical boundaries, for which she slaps him. And even that's not enough to get him to stop. He basically stalks her in "First Date," showing up at her date with Eric and telling her, "I think you have feelings for me," when all she's said and demonstrated is the opposite.

So, no. Hyde and Donna had no potential. Hyde's damn lucky Donna forgave him for everything he did -- and that the writers totally re-characterized him after they ended that non-triangle triangle.

A true romantic triangle is where one of the characters has romantic feelings for two different people who also have romantic feelings for that character. But Donna has romantic feelings for only Eric, not Hyde. Therefore, it's not a romantic triangle but Hyde trying to force Donna to act on feelings she doesn't have for him.

I agree. It would've been nice to see Donna's side of it. I also agree that Red and Eric bonding moments were too far and few between on the show. They toughed Red up even more after S1, which broadened the gap between him and Eric.

It's interesting to see actors on T7S before they were really famous (or semi-famous) (e.g., Amy Adams as Kat Peterson in "Burning Down the House" [2x15]).

I just realized that it seems like the Sprouse brothers were favorites back then. They appeared in famous tv shows, Friends, that 70s.

And let us not forget, Buddy! JGL! He was lanky back then.

JGL was just a wee one on his own show, 3rd Rock from the Sun -- which happened to use the Formans' basement set before T7S did.

almost half way done with s4. So far, I find it the most funniest although I miss seeing Laurie and Midge!

The good thing is i like seeing Eric and Donna as friends. We never really get to see them being friendly since theyve been together for three seasons. It is good to see a different side.

I know, I said that I think Hyde should have a girl BUUUT why give random girls to Hyde?

I dont know about you guys but I enjoyed seeing Big Ronda with Fez

I agree. We did get Eric/Donna friendship in season 1, but they were also obviously in love with each other then and wanting more. In S4, we also get to see how they are apart from each other.

Originally, Hyde and Melissa (from "Hyde Gets the Girl") were going to be in a relationship, but the writers scrapped it. During S1-S3, we barely see Hyde with any kind of girlfriend (or fling).

There's Chrissy ("Punk Chick"), but that couldn't work; otherwise, Hyde would've left the show. There's Patty, who became Fez's girlfriend. And that's it, partly because Hyde was occupied with the Jackie storyline.

But in S4, Hyde dating random girls for a week or so without any real commitment -- that's how he probably dated them during S1-S3. We just didn't get to hear about it or see it.

can i just say that im really really enjoying this jackie/hyde thing. I think they are so hot as a couple (Mila is soo gorgeous in this season btw she really grew up!) this ship should have happened 2 seasons ago!
