I just can't believe they gave Hyde a pornstache. He said in another season to Kelso that he looked like a porn star when he had the same mustache.

Methinks the pornstache was Danny's idea -- just like the beard in season 5. He likes having facial hair. But both were OOC for Hyde, tbh. Hyde's character was too young to have a bead that thick.

The beard was something Hyde might've tried in his early 20s.

I dunno - I thought that at first, but he doesn't have it in any of the pictures from the wrap party, almost as though he was glad to be rid of it. (At least, that's what I tell myself to make myself feel better. )

I liked his beard - I thought it was hot haha but the pornstache took things to a whole new level of nasty. NO ONE looks good with that thing.

I'm more of a fan of beardless Hyde, but I didn't hate the beard on him.

I also LOVE your latest J/H tumblr post. So freakin' clever.

I like Hyde with a little scruff, but I also facial hair free Hyde. I didn't mind the beard, the only thing that bothered me on him was the stupid pornstache.

Yeah the pornstache was Danny's idea because I remember while he was filming the show I saw an interview or it could have been on his radio show where someone asked him can the producers on the show make you shave it off? He said no, what are they going to do fire me? and then he started laughing.

I like to think he kept the stache while he was filming the show to rebel because the show was not going to put J/H together

I also loved the beard on him even though it was pretty unlikely that teenage Hyde would have a beard that thick. But I do love beardless Hyde more. I will say that I Loved Hyde's little bit of facial hair in "The Seeker". I think he looked incredibly sexy with that amount of facial hair. It was just the right amount.

I think had the show been under better writers -- and had J/H still been together -- during season 8, there wouldn't have been a pornstache.

I like that idea, he kept that horrible thing because he was protesting the badness of the season.

Oh me too. Even though I liked WB I sort of feel like giving Hyde rich dad just took away from his character. The black dad thing was kind of funny and cool how they played about the fro and hate for the man. I just feel like the jump the shark moment happened then. Especially since later Hyde was sort of trying to live up to these expectations for his dad. Then they had do all the stuff about quitting the circle and stuff. It all started with the real dad story line. The show started to go down hill in S7 but S7 still had few good episodes where as there was really nothing good about S8 at all. Seriously is there a single redeemable thing about S8?

For me, the show started going downhill in season 6. Character development was discarded for punchlines. And it has an entirely throw-away episode "Young Man's Blues". So pointless. But season 6 has a lot of good episodes, too.

But giving Hyde a different dad is such a soap opera move. Though I like W.B.'s character, I dislike how the storyline altered Hyde's history.

Season 7 really started to go down hill, but still had it's good moments and good episodes.

In my opinion nothing is redeemable in season 8.

This. Yes this is exactly how I feel. Then really did this storyline even serve a purpose for Hydes character? He continued to live with the formats even though he had is own job and store to run. Hell he even lived there with his "wife." I feel like WB was brought in for Rich dad or black dad punch lines. I can't even remember how things ended for Hyde because I just refuse to rematch S8.

I like to call S6 the Ashton Kutcher Season. But yeah S6 had some good episodes.

I liked Hyde's storyline with WB in S7. That was probably my favorite part about S7. I didn't like that they hooked up Angie with Kelso . It was very lazy to repeat the same thing that happened to Eric when Kelso started dating Laurie. What was Eric doing in S7? He was being a bum. Donna went blonde. What was Fez doing? I feel like Hyde was the only one with a storyline. Then the worst part about S7 was the break up between Hyde and Jackie and then the reconciliation was so lame.

I really wish they would have used Hyde's storyline after he got the store as a way for him to realize that he was growing up and it was time to take the next step in his relationship with Jackie and move out and get his own place.
