This thread is designed for everyone to get their anger out towards the hated season 8. This is the first anti/bash thread on this board and it's only opening because of the united bitterness towards the season. We're also opening this thread so we can hopefully get most of the season 8 hate talk here instead of having it littered all over the other threads.

Before we begin there are a couple rules. If the rules are not followed you will be warned individually in PMs and if you keep it up you may be reported and the thread will be closed for good.

RULES
1) Respect everyone's opinion! We are all going to differ in them whether it's a J/F shipper vs. a J/H shipper. Do not get angry with and do not attack... Please respond in a respectful adult manner.
2) There will be no bashing of any real live person in this thread. Just because you hate Sam doesn't give you the right to say anything negative about Jud Tyler.

Reasons For Season 8 Hate:

1. NO TOPHER GRACE!
2. No Zen.
3. The abomination that is Hyde's pornstache.
4. Randy.
5. Horrible, go-nowhere storylines!
6. Sam.
7. Jackie and Fez.
8. More Eric burial.
9. Blonde Donna.
10. Randy and Donna as a couple.
11. Kitty's new hairdo.
12. The crappy opening!
13. Hyde losing his soul being totally out of character.
14. Donna becoming friends with Sam.
15. Jackie sweeping hair at the salon as her "career".
16. The stupid storyline with Mary Tyler Moore.
17. Unfunny jokes.
18. Missing the core of the show! I mean why have the 'hot sets' be in Forman's basement with (core) ERIC FORMAN missing?!
19. Hyde quitting the circle.
20. Sam being married to someone else the whole time making Hyde's entire story line (and reason for no J/H reunion) pointless.
21. Limited Kelso.
22. Red and Kitty... not being true!Red and Kitty.
23. The fact that Eric broke up with Donna, and she turned to -- ugh -- Randy.
24. Wasting so much potential.
25. Jackie even thinking about saying yes to Kelso's marriage proposal.
26. Donna saying she's never seen Hyde happier than when he's with Sam.
27. Everything Randy ever said!
28. Moving Jackie in with Fez.
29. Eric never once had a scene with Red and Kitty when he returned.
30. Hyde called Jackie a "bitch".
31. The lame rhino joke that was supposed to be funny in the final circle.
32. That lame-ass scene with Hyde and Donna's floating heads.
33. That it "existed" in the first place.
34. Hyde's empty lap.
35. Bob moving to Florida.
36. Red and Kitty wanting to go to Florida, too.
37. Hyde hanging out in that sauna with those older folks.
38. How Eric was the only decent one, never cheated, never did harm to others -- yet he was the most picked-on even in absence.
39. Donna didn't go to college when Eric left.
40. Eric breaking up with Donna by letter.
41. That they even considered recasting Eric.
42. The fact that we're able to find at least 41 reasons as to why we hate this season.
43. The fact that there are WAY more than 41 reasons why we hate this season.
44. The fact that season 8 hasn't been fixed yet, even 5 years later.
45. That they killed Charlie in the premiere.
46.The lack of "dumbass" and the classic "I'll stick my foot in your ass." Without Eric, Red lost his finesse.
47. The storyline of making Kitty bond with Fez. Despite her motherliness, it hadn't been established she felt this way about him in the 7 years that came before.
48. Red selling his heart medicine -- with Hyde's advice.
49. That lame episode with the stolen clown. "Fun It".
50. After Donna and Eric broke up there was hardly any mention of him with Red and Kitty.
51. That one episode where Hyde and Jackie gave us false hope of getting back together. Then she falls in the creek.
52. Jackie's "perfect man" list -- and who fits the bill.
53. That ridiculous dream Jackie had of her "prince".
54. Every episode.
55. Hyde marrying Samantha. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
56. Wilmer looking too old to be the Fez he's supposed to be.
57. Jackie was barely out of high school and was obsessed with getting married -- before she even decided what she wanted to do with her life.
58. The end of season 7 was the intro to the major disaster called SEASON EIGHT!
59. I have to turn the channel whenever I see a S8 episode on.
60. Jackie thinking that the perfect man for her was the pervy, Peeping Tom who hid in Donna's closet for the previous 7 years.
61. Because five years later, we still can't believe Jackie didn't end the series with Hyde.
62. Questioning our loved ones' sanity for even being able to say they like S8.
63. The writers forgetting that these characters were supposed to be friends who actually LIKED and cared about each other!!!
64. Donna changed into a bitch in S8... or before.
65. Because Fez was "half in love with" Kelso -- NOT JACKIE!

My guess is that the cast that remained in Season 8 got paid so much money to do one more season that they had to let go of the writers and hire cheap writers who had no idea who these characters were.

If I could interview the writers of Season 8 I would ask them how many episodes of T70s show did you watch? Cause I bet they didn't watch a single episode past Season 1.

What I read was that a good majority of the S7 writers were burnt out and they didn't want to work on the show anymore.

If that was the case they should have given it a proper ending instead of hiring those writers to do a hack job for season 8.

Well you can't have a good show without good writing, even if you do have the same actors. Season 8 could have been great and they could have worked around Eric's absence but they ruined the characters. Even Red and Kitty aren't the same.
