Nope, definitely not. Besides all the wacky episodes, the whole Mark-was-really-with- Darlene, and David-was-with-Becky retcon stuff ... no. And Dan dying from a heart attack early on, no. Saying all the canon seasons weren't canon but a re-imagining by Roseanne for her novel or what-not -- again, no. It doesn't work.

Now season 8 being a badly-written story by Fez? That would make total sense.

I am glad I am not alone in my hatred of the last season of Roseanne or That 70's show. Unlike T7S, there was one episode of the last season of Roseanne that I did like, and that was the one where Darlene gave birth to her and David's baby. That was the most realistic episode of the season and was pretty emotional and times.

I don't buy that Dan really died of the heart attack or that Darlene was with Mark and Becky was with David, just no, I love Darlene and David too much for that!

Anyway!

Season 8 could be a bad story written by Fez, and then they could read it in the circle and burn it!

Oh, I didn't realize that was in the last season, too. Yeah, that's a good episode.

I shipped Darlene and David before I knew what shipping was.

It was in the last season towards the end. See, I don't like season 9 of Roseanne for the most part, but I can at least watch it and there are some tolerable and decent moments, like that episode.

I shipped them hardcore too, I still do. They are another couple that I really enjoy their storyline.

I would help Jackie and Hyde light the match!

I watched S9 when it originally aired, but I've seen only some of it again in the years since.

UGH! I accidentally ended up on Hyde's wikipedia page and it has Sam's name next to Spouse Yeah, it says invalid, but it's there for all of the internets eternity.

That has happened to me too, it makes me sick everytime. Just like if I am channel surfing and a season 8 episode is on.

OH! The other day I was on my youtube channel and it said " since you liked this, we recommend", and it was a season 8 episode. I was like " Are you freaking kidding me, don't you know me at all youtube."

It's not very perceptive. There should be an algorithm that separates S8 from the rest of the series. Treat it like two different shows, which they essentially are.
