Yeah, that is super-frustrating. It's like a good fanfic that goes unfinished.

I wouldn't doubt that it's getting renewed. ABC advertises the show a lot, which means it believes in the show. ... Well, that's how I choose to see it.

I want to watch this show if only to see his performance. I might cry.

I hope you’re right Lisa. You do have a point about it being advertised a lot and I think Kurtwood Smith and Omar Epps are traveling to South East Asia I wanna say to do publicity or something for the show. But what worries me is the numbers slipping with each episode. They’re still high numbers but I’m not saying anything till ABC releases the news, don’t wanna jinx it.

If you do go that route I’d be happy to point out which scenes are the must see ones from KS

I don't see why ABC would waste time and money promoting a show it plans to cancel. And slipping numbers are all relative. Ratings that would've been considered abysmal before the internet are now considered successful. It's weird. So here's hoping the show gets a S2!

Is he in a good portion of each episode? Or are his scenes few and far between?

Gosh, I still haven't watched Resurrection. I think I've seen it on Hulu. I need to remember to check it out.

He's the father of one of the resurrected and he's fantastic in it. It's an ensemble cast, so everyone basically has equal screen time depending on what the episode is focused on.

Chris is right the cast of Resurrection really are wonderful! And they do each have a good amount of screen time. There are some episodes that focus a little more Kurtwood Smith’s character so those episode…well those scenes would be the ones to watch if you only want to see Kurtwood’s performances.

A fanfic where Eric dies and returns…I don’t know if there’d be a story like that. Most people just like to write stories where Eric dies and then show Red’s reaction to it. Plus we still have very little information in Resurrection to explain the returned and that make it harder to write a story like it. I wouldn’t be surprised though if someone watching Resurrection got inspired to do a T7S version of it. I know watching the show has helped inspire more serious scenes with Red for me and Marla’s Lost.

Prissy, any T7S fic inspired by Resurrection would probably be very angsty and heavy. Maybe it's better if one isn't written.

Yeah, that's the one...and it's kind of terrible, which is why I think it's more up Eric's alley instead of Resurrection
