Welcome to the Jackie/Donna Friendship Appreciation Thread!

Through the years, the girls friendship has continually gotten closer, as the girls consult each other and remain friends despite the odds. Even so, the spark and fire is always there, and always amusing. Donna will always be there to stare in disbelief as Jackie spouts something too surreal to have really been said out loud, and Jackie will always be the one to set Donna straight about her lumber jack ways.

Donna's parents being divorced (or, at least, living in different states) helped her in the long run. She didn't have to worry about her parents breaking up anymore. She wasn't living in limbo. She could get used to a new status quo instead of feeling unsafe every day she woke up.

I agree. Once Midge finally moved away it gave Donna some stability about what her parents were doing.

Technically, we should've seen Midge in the first S5 episode since Donna and Kelso were staying with her. I wonder how that worked? I'm sure Kelso tried to sneak into both Donna and Midge's bedrooms.

But there's always that.

And this is partly why Kelso is the way he is. He didn't get enough attention from home, so he's constantly doing things that get him attention -- positive or negative.

I wonder why Donna was friends with him...

That is why, as stupid as Kelso could be at times, I think if he had gotten some more attention from his parents, he might have turned out a little differently...Maybe.

My theory is that Kelso didn't get nearly enough attention from his mother. She probably got pregnant shortly after he was born. So that's why he became a sex-addict who needed to be with hundreds of women, in an attempt to fill that motherless hole inside his heart.

Then again, he could just be a pig.

That is a good theory about his mother. At Kelso's rare deeper moments I think that it could be the lack of attention from his mother. Othertimes....well he is just a pig.
