I didn't even realize this thread even existed. But how very, very cool. Yeah...I definitely miss LRK. She had that character nailed (no pun intended) and with no disrespect to the new chick....there's only one Laurie. I think my favorite eppie was Laurie and the Professor too. "Burst into flames! Burst into flames!" Classic. Oh, and I think it was the eppie where Red gets a job at Price Mart and Hyde tells her she's so going to end up in porno...the snarky look on her face was too funny. She is missed.

In Eric's Birthday she almost seemed normal. But the elements were there. Doing laundry in just a sweatshirt and panties. (and hey, that proves Hyde's theory wrong, she did wear panties at least once)
Going out drinking with friends, conning her parents out of more money than what was needed for gas. Etc.

And I love Eric's response to her in the episode name I forgot, "Free, Whatever."

I miss LRK too.

She'll forever live on in SYN.

Yeah, "Eric's Birthday" was weird, but great.

I was about to say something about Carter and how gas was expensive so they were reasonably fooled, but then I remembered Ford was still president when the show started.
