Fez wore Red's fishing hat and Price Mart jacket. Hyde wore Kitty's apron and did the baking.

They do. I like seeing them have fun being friends instead of Hyde trying to pull the wool over Fez's eyes and screw him over (like during their double blind date).

I wonder how they got into "playing house" in the first place.

They were probably high and that's how they got the idea

Hyde probably got really hungry and decided to bake and Fez decided to go into Red's closet.
