Whoever has the car.

Speaking of driving, we don't see Donna drive on the show except during the theme song/intro.

Didn't Eric once try to make up an excuse of Donna getting a flat tire or running out of gas & Red pointed out that she doesn't have a car.

Y'know, I can't remember.

That does sound familiar, but I could not tell you what episode it is from. I think I remember that though.

Weird, it's from that episode we talked about where Fez was over at the Foremans' without Eric & Eric ended up yelling to Donna "Don't stop loving me!" as he ran for her bathroom. Also where Kitty buys Hyde that stuntman jacket.

"Why are you doing your homework in the morning?"
"Uh, I was out last night with Donna."
"Well, of course you were. That's why you came in a half hour past the curfew."
"Oh, well, Donna had a flat."
"Ohh! That's awful bad luck. Seein' how Donna doesn't have a car."

If there was a photo exhibit of candid moonings she might like that. Also probably band photographers galleries/exhibits by people from that time like Mick Rock or Linda McCartney.

Only if her butt picture was included.

During one of the circles, there was this diologue:

Jackie:
"I'm gonna put up with you for Donna's sake. Cause she doesn't have
very many friends !"

Donna:
"That's not true Jackie. I have a ton of friends. There's... OH, there's that one girl who... No !..."

Was that just because she was in the circle, or was that just how it was for her at that point?

Donna was shown, from the start of the series, not to have female friends. Eric, Hyde, and Kelso formed her group of friends since first grade -- and Fez became part of that group in tenth grade. So I think that scene reflects the fact Jackie is Donna's only female friend.

I think having Jackie as a friend was good for Donna, and vice versa.

Definitely. They both grounded each other in different ways.

Jackie needed a good, reliable girlfriend, and Donna needed a girl friend period.

Yes and yes.

I like that Donna is on the Valentine's Dance committee in season 5. Nothing's explicitly said about that, but she and Jackie are shown decorating the gym for the dance. And an interesting little backstory must lie behind that. Did Donna join the committee to stretch herself? To prove that she's "freakin' feminine" or because she's always enjoyed decorating, and people don't expect that from her -- like in "Hyde's Birthday"? Maybe she was on the committee first and recruited Jackie.

That's a good question. I never thought much into that, but now I am curious.
