Yeah the story was insanely disturbing. When I was watching it, it was freaking me out. But I totally agree Laura did an amazing job I honestly don't think I could have done it would have weirded me out too much.

I definitely could not have acted that part. I would've been way too creeped out.
I still haven't decided if I think Karla killed the girls or not. The impression I go from the movie was that I didn't think she did it. But then at the end, they showed those facts and stuff and I started thinking maybe she did.  __________________

Yeah I'm not sure I only watched a little bit of it, but the bits that I watched I did not think she did. I think I'm going to rent it sometime and watch it all of the way through.

Donna has always been my favourite! Count me in with her fans.
My boyfriend actually has a massive crush on her too but I choose to forgive him... it's like Hyde said in whatever episode it was I just watched in season one: "I mean look at you [/her/whatever]... [one] can't help it!" (I'm also going to mention here that I've long been a massive Hyde/Donna fan, but that's for a different thread, obviously...) RE: the blondeness- I actually really like it. I don't know whether it's because I'm projecting on her as a fellow semi-recently blonde person, but I can see why she might not want to go back to being red. It sounds bimbo-y but it can actually be such a confidence boost to go lighter, I have to admit. RE: her acting- I definitely see her as more of a dramatic actress. In a way I never felt she was that suited to the comedy of That 70s Show... even though it would be unthinkable without her, and she obviously had a very important role in it as the "straight guy" in a comedy dynamic... thing. I just rediscovered my love of Laura after a good many years of not watching anyway (have just spent about two days reading these forums etc) but am looking forward to watching some October Road... I've heard good critical reviews of it actually, even though some of you guys don't sound so keen, am I right? Well I'll pass judgement when I've seen. |
