I agree. In the future!fic I wrote (which will never see the light of day unless I can seriously rework it), Kelso lives in the same town as Donna and Eric (for reasons I'll keep to myself for now). It's not too far from Point Place (a short drive).

The fic I'm working on now has Kelso and Brooke's relationship as an important part of it, too. The best Kelso, imo, is the one in love with Brooke.

Because he's less selfish and less of a narcissist when he's with her. He actually respects her (as much Kelso can respect someone; he still needs to work on it), which is a first for him with a woman -- or, quite frankly, anyone. He's not all that respectful toward his guy friends, either.
