Oh Eric was a huge ass in that one, but Donna set him straight!

I love that ep, though.

"Cat killer."

Bastard.

I watched a lot of S4 eps yesterday. I can't remember if this following bit was part of it, but Kelso buying a stake in the pinball machine was interesting. Eric said he hated pinball, and the show actually remembered that for season 7. Hyde wanted to play pinball on the night Jackie gave him the ultimatum -- but Eric didn't want to go... which meant Hyde was present when Jackie showed up in the basement.

I also like that after Kelso upsets Fez by dismissing his comments, Hyde clasps Fez's shoulder comfortingly/in solidarity. It's a subtle but significant piece of characterization.

I never noticed that about the pinball machine either and how they remembered it. Parts of season 7 are blocked out for me though.

Understandable.

I find it interesting that something as seemingly insignificant as Eric's hatred of pinball affected Jackie and Hyde's relationship so much...

Of course, Jackie would've found Hyde eventually anyway.

Sometimes the smallest things can have an effect.

Jackie and Hyde will always find each other in my mind.

In the case of Jackie's S7 ultimatum, that might not have been a good thing.

Donna buying the trailer in S6 was one of the dumbest (and OOC) things she ever did pre-S8, imo.

I couldn't believe that trailer. I didn't think real Donna would have bought that either, it just seemed so...weird for her to do that.

Especially since she was the one always pushing to leave Point Place. And what about going to college? The whole thing was just "off" and a (clunky, OOC) way for the writers to get Eric (and Donna) to question getting married then.

Definitely agree. Donna was totally crazy in love to want to live in a trailer. And I can't believe Eric would want to live in one either.

Neither one of them would have wanted to live in a trailer, I think more people would have spoken up about it as well.

If Eric had made that kind of decision without Donna's input, she would've decapitated him.

Hmmm, maybe Donna should of thought of that before she bought a trailer, how she would have reacted!

I have such a hard time believing in that storyline.

Interesting that during certain episodes and scenes of S4, even while Donna was dating Casey, Eric and Donna almost acted like they were still together or best friends. They sat flush on the couch together -- and in "Class Day," she even sat on his lap during the circle (although that circle could've been a flashback back to before they'd broken up).

I never noticed that about the circle in that episode, I will have to look for it now.

Eric and Donna can't be apart from each other. They tried, but they still acted like they were together.

Except for the fact Eric couldn't touch her "naughty places".

I liked that Donna made an effort to look extra-hot just to taunt him while they were broken up.
