These two really were special. I still loved how Red would just look at Kitty with pure love sometimes.

She probably was to some degree. That was really funny seeing Donna in with Kitty's hairstyle when Eric was all uncomfortable with them hanging out.
I'm glad they didn't push the Red & Kitty ribbing over the edge to being disrespectfully mean, like Fred & Ethyl or certain other sitcom parents. With the Foremans it seemed more like naive assumptions or obliviousness, than purposeful jabbing. I don't think anyone would disagree that Kurtwood as Red was great casting, but how long would the show have lasted if Chuck Norris had accepted the role as initially planned? |

I agree. I think that's why Donna acted out at times, she was trying to get some kind of reaction out of her parents.
