I'm glad DJR made that choice in the pilot, and that the more cartoony aspects of Kitty stuck. Makes her more interesting (and definitely more funny).

It makes her the Kitty we all know and love... and in spite of the cartoony nature of her character, it always came through that she cared about her family anyway. She remained a believable person all the same.

Kitty became one of my favorite characters period.

If only Red and Kitty's S1-S4 relationship/dynamic had been carried through the later episodes. The storylines would've been so much better.

I have to agree. It especially suffered in the later seasons.

Imagine Kitty and Red helping Hyde and Jackie more with their relationship. Kitty does it in "The Acid Queen" and "Surprise, Surprise," but that's with Jackie. I would've liked to see Kitty talk to Hyde about his feelings for Jackie. Maybe he wouldn't have been so wibbly-wobbly about the relationship in S7.

Kitty did get him to go on that date with Jackie... :lol:

I think Kitty would have given Hyde good advice about Jackie.

She did! :nod: And that shows a) how much he trusts Kitty's POV and b) he found enough validity in Kitty's assessment (i.e. that Hyde has feelings for Jackie) to do the experiment and find out if it was true.

I really wonder what thought went through his head after Kitty said, "Pow!" and he walked out of the kitchen to the driveway.

Colleen, imagine if Kitty had told Hyde how lucky he is that Jackie adores him and that he shouldn't let that go:

"The love of a good woman, Steven, can save your life. Why, Red would've been dead five-times over if it hadn't been for me. ... Of course, I am a nurse and know First Aid, but that's beside the point."

I am inclined to agree with that. :nod: I'm glad that he did, even if nothing much came out of it at the time. (Aside from some cool Zen szenes, of course.)

Freaking show. *shakes fist* It needed to bridge the gap between J/H's S1-S3 relationship and their S5 relationship. :pout:
