A few months later, they asked him to audition for the series. It was his first professional audition, and Grace got the job playing Eric Forman on the brand new sitcom. Although he’d already begun studies at the University of Southern California, he put his schooling on hold for the time being. The show was a hit, and two years later, Grace made his big screen debut in a serious role as a drug user in the hard-hitting Oscar-nominated feature film Traffic (2000). He won a Young Hollywood Award for Breakthrough Performance and shared a Screen Actors Guild Award with the rest of the cast. His next big role was in Mona Lisa Smile (2003), co-starring with Julia Roberts, Julia Stiles and Kirsten Dunst, then he moved up to leading man status playing Pete Monash, the guy who’s secretly in love with a girl who wins a date with a movie star in Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! (2004). Next came the Independent film with Laura Linney p.s. which earned Topher a Breakthrough Actor Award. He followed that performance up with the dramedy "In Good Company." Topher was next seen in Spiderman 3 in 2007, in which he starred as Eddie Brock, whose alter ego is known as the villainous 'Venom'. Since then, his other movies have included Valentine's Day, Predators, HBO's Too Big to Fail, The Double, and 2011's Take Me Home Tonight, which he also wrote and exec produced. He made his Broadway debut in Paul Weitz's "Lonely I'm Not" in May 2012. Topher will next be seen on the big screen in April 2013 in Lionsgate's The Big Wedding. Born in New York City, he currently makes his home in Los Angeles and New York. I don't want to get into another big thing like last time (), but I don't think that really "proves" anything. It seems like a typical gossip-style magazine article that has apparent news from an "insider" who isn't named. I wouldn't believe anything until I actually got a statement from one of the actors or someone directly involved in working with the show. If you look at all the comments after that article was posted, most people agree with me in saying it is unreliable and doesn't make sense. If Topher really felt like that, he just wouldn't have come on the show.

If I could describe Topher Grace is would be this. Topher is one unique individual. You cant find anyone like him between his impeccable timing, delivery and face expressions. His physical acting as well. He really is under-rated in the Hollywood world. I do however respect the hell out of him for going for good roles, not just work to work. He's worked with some major actors in his time. He also does not take his fame and money for granted. He's quiet in the media and is still working. Good for him. Longtime loyal fan. Do you think Topher and I would be cute together? __________________

Could my man Topher get any hotter! OMG I just saw TBG. He is so gorgeous! And even though he didnt have the lead role he had a substantial part as Jared and call me bias but his role was probably the best! Y'all gotta help me get hooked up to him.

Indeed but I hate reading all the negative about him. Its personal now.
I wrote a review of "He's a good guy and he gets a lot of flack after That '70s show because he didnt take every role to just work. He was thought of being the big star of that show. He chose his work and what he wanted to take part in. He's lucky he gets to do that! Unlike some of his former castmates. I mean seriously look at the high rollers, big stars he's worked with over the years!? Obviously he is well respected by the higher tptb otherwise why would they cast him with these bigwigs? He's doing something right and staying out of the limelight in the process. I find it admirable of what he is doing. He's still a celebrity but he's not an Ashton Kutcher (whom I find to be a cookie cutter actor) or whatever. He works but does it more at his terms. Sorry (not sorry), but I have been a loyal follower of his for a long time and will stand by him." __________________

I saw The Big Wedding tonight and I honestly didn't think it was that good. I love Topher though, I thought he did great... but the movie just kind of seemed like a hot mess to me.

Could you add me to the list of fans, I just realised I hadn't already asked. Obviously I love the character, it is kind of hard to watch the show if you don't considering he is often at the centre of things.
