i count the high school part as being a burn. high school is 4 years of burns. and being stuck trimming hedges could be a burn, cuz its a lame job to be stuck with. and join the club for being weird. forgot who said that right now.

The "high school" could definitely be a separate burn because it's about how Eric's engaged but still in high school...

Debra Jo Rupp's playing Dr. Ruth in a one-woman play about her.

I actually get why Red was so adamantly against Eric and Donna's engagement. He was really worried Eric would ruin his life by not getting an education. He thought Eric would end up in the same situation as Red, having a job he's loyal to for 20+ only to be dropped on his ass.

Red didn't go about fixing "the problem," as he saw it, the right way. But his heart was actually in the right place.

Red had every right to worry, Eric and Donna were really young when they got engaged. Also Eric has a tendency to focus more on Donna then anything else.

Donna "gums up the works".

Of course, by the end of season 5, Eric and Donna got Red's blessing, and Kitty loses it.

Kitty losing it, was one of the funniest Kitty scenes. " Way to go Dumbass!"

It's amazing Kitty and Red's relationship survived that whole mess.

Red and Kitty definitely have a strong relationship.

I love their relationship in seasons 1-2 especially. Kitty was less quirky, but I miss her stability and strength and intellect. Her character was decimated after S5 -- because of season 5. It's like the writers forgot her wackiness in S5 was due to menopause, not because she's crazy.

I agree, then again I think a lot of the characters started to suffer after season 5 sadly.
