Thanks for the link, LightYears! DJR's done a lot of theater the last few years. It's nice to see her do some TV work, too.

Oh, that's awesome! I've been thinking about watching that show, but I haven't yet.

Which TV shows do you think Red and Kitty watched in the '70s?

Well I know they attempted to watch "Roots" and Red watched soap operas!

Red watching soaps is hilarious. I think he also liked Mannix.

Red watching soaps is one of the funniest things on the show.

It is. His soap opera fantasy and how deeply he gets into discussing the show with people at Kitty's hospital party ...

One of the reasons it's so funny is that it's unexpected yet written so that it's still in-character for Red.

I totally agree. I liked that it was funny but still in character.

During season 1-4, the show wrote Red really well. His sexy zombies nightmare fits him, too, and shows his fidelity to Kitty.

I agree, Red was written very well in the first seasons especially.

Like the time he tried to give Kitty a spontaneous evening out, and it almost ended badly -- until they made love in their car while it was parked in the park.
