Good question. Fez sabotaging Eric would be funnier; that's for sure.

And since it would be funnier, especially the later seasons, would've gone with that route.

Agreed.

Speaking of Jackie, Fez, and Eric, did we ever see that trio grouped for any sort of plot? I don't remember one, but it could've played out interestingly, especially if it took place during the earlier seasons when Fez was infatuated with Jackie. I also wished we'd gotten more Fez/Eric interaction, in general.

I don't remember anything like that either, but I agree that it has potential.

Fez got paired up with Hyde, Jackie, and Kelso most-often. He had a few stories / major scenes with Eric, Donna, Red, and Kitty, but otherwise he was with his girlfriends.

Jackie and Eric should've had more scenes together, especially considering she dated Eric's best friend, and Eric dated Jackie's best friend. I would've liked to see interaction from that angle.

It took me six months, but I finished the fic! Now let us never speak of it again! It ended up being 3 chapters instead of 2, because someone had a cute request and I rolled with it. Nobody should read it unless they like them as a couple though, since the challenge was to write an adult spin on them.

Gosh that's really true though, I never saw Fez/Jackie/Eric scenes, though you're right that it'd make sense for Eric and Jackie to interact more since if they're dating each other's best friends, that would put them all in the same orbit. Like, why didn't they ever have double dates? That could've been painfully awkward and fun.

Ooh, you finished it! Congratulations! Now it's off your head.

It could've been such a great B story for an ep. Wasted opportunities. The T7S writers should've thought more like the Star Trek: Deep Space 9 writers, who paired up different main characters as often as they could to bring out different aspects to them.

Haha, thank you! At least this thread will no longer be full of my whining about not wanting to finish! But yes, the feedback was very nice. I've had more attention on this fic than anything I've written in the past several years, which is amazing since it's such an old show. Ofc, the shows I write for currently have tiny fandoms, so that's probably part of it.

And about the double dates, definitely! They enjoyed showing the guys hanging out (and occasionally just the girls), so why not the main couples and their best friends? I've never seen Star Strek: Deep Space 9, but that formula (pairing up different people constantly) is often handled very poorly. It takes a talented set of writers to pull it off. I think T7S could've done it...prior to S5 onward.

Eric/Jackie fans are a passionate bunch. They love their fanfic.

Exactly. These missed opportunities baffle me.

Yeahhh, maybe with a different set of writers.

That's wonderful to hear! I'm glad you got so much attention for your fanfic.
