I love that T7S got Eve Plumb (who played Jan Brady) to play Jackie's mom in "The Keg". I wonder how Jackie's storyline would've changed at the show kept her mom a non-alcoholic real estate agent.

Technically she still could have been an alcoholic, but yea, I really didn't like that they got rid of the real estate agent aspect. She could have been an attractive mom who everyone fawned over that had a career. Hell, she could have even still been a partyer...who had a career.

That's true. But with Hyde's mom as an alcoholic from the get-go, and Kitty as an alcoholic in season 5, it would've been nice to see a mom who did not take to the bottle.

ITA. Instead, they deprived Pam of her complexity and turned her into a punchline. Very typical of season 6.

I find it ironic that Pete Townsend put the kibosh the title Teenage Wasteland, but then Roger Daltry appeared on the show. I wonder how that conversation went.

I like that they had guests from the past like Tom Poston, Gavin MacLeod & Shirley Jones. I'm suprised they didn't have Charo, that chick pops up everywhere.
