I didn't see that movie, but one could do a mash-up of season-1 Kelso (who's characterized as a math and tech prodigy) and scenes from the movie to create some kind of T7S fanwork. I wish Kelso's intelligence hadn't been taken away from him. It made him more complex and, potentially, more interesting.

You will be the first one I tell!

I wish we saw Kelso continue to be intelligent throughout the show. It was nice to see him with it.

But, hey, at least he eventually realizes why every page in a book is numbered.

Well I guess we can be thankful for that at least!

I sometimes like to think Kelso was smarter than he let on.

It's hard to tell -- and it depends on the episode. Like how Homer Simpson's intelligence varies, depending on the episode.

Hmm ... think Kelso's friends would believe Homer Simpsons was modeled after him?

Season one Kelso was smarter, and I wonder sometimes if Kelso was pretending to be dumber than he thought. ( Or maybe that is giving the writers too much credit).

Definitely the bolded part.

If he were actually smarter, and he hid it from Jackie, Jackie would be doubly angry at him for behaving like such a doofus -- and then relieved because it helped her fall out of love with him.

That's a good point. I like to think though, that over time Kelso got smarter...and more mature.

It would've been great to see that -- and see him own his past bad behavior, apologize for it, and not go back on the apologies.

Right, it would have been great to see him continue to progress instead of regress.

And he could've still had doofus-y moments without being a narcissistic jerk.

---

I would've liked to see what Hyde and Kelso's friendship was like before the show/before Kelso started dating Jackie.

I would too. I would like to see what it was like before they really started caring about girls.

Hyde probably recruited Kelso for all the schemes Eric was too afraid to do. And Kelso found a willing scheme partner in Hyde, too (to an extent).
