#714: "Street Fighting Man" (Spoilers)
Donna gets tickets to the Packers game, and Eric convinces her to give one to Red, but he regrets his decision after Red's behavior gets them thrown out of the game.
Everyone able to see this episode tonight may discuss. Everyone who doesn't want to be spoiled, wait until tomorrow night. __________________

Well I will start my short review by saying that the spoiler description. They don't get thrown out because of Red.
Honestly this episode should be called things I never thought I would see. Jackie telling Hyde to make love to Fez, Red crying, Bob touching Kitty's butt, Eric beating up a big guy because he insulted Red etc.. that was so strange. Gotta to say What I loved more about the episode is the Jackie and Hyde parts LOL not a surprise coming from a zen fan but I thought they acting was great. I loved that they used the tiny dancer song when Jackie was crying, I guess it really is their song. I loved Danny's voice in the last scene with Jackie. That last scene with them was really great, I half expected them to kiss because they have so much chemistry and you could feel the tension between them. Oops can't believe I didn't mention what I loved more about the scene, the realisation that they can't hang out. I actually loved that. I didn't find the episode that funny but I am just glad it's back Last edited by jbshmdfb; 02-08-2005 at 06:55 PM |

Hm, sounds bizarre... guess I'l find out what it's all about tonight. Though the use of Tiny Dancer is making me feel all happy inside. Sounds like there's some J/H drama, eh?

It was funny, for a season seven episode anyways.
Jackie,"Donna here's three hotdogs." Donna,"Because you still loove him." So sweet how they always play Tiny Dancer for J/H. Kind of like Thirteen when Eric and Donna are having issues. Bob and Kitty. Kitty and Bob. Bobby and Kitty. Oh my. Bravo. Jane Fonda. LOL Donna explaining to Eric why wearing the Bears jersey was wrong by comparing it to Star Wars was pretty darn funny too. Red,"Look, Eric's in a fight! No one's here, no one gonna believe me!" The rest was blah. __________________

My heart. Absolutely BROKE for Jackie. And the look on Hyde's face. Oh man..
But Eric kicking ass was great...good Red/Eric moments. The switch joke got dumb quick. And Bob in the tag...heh heh. All in all, okay. But not fantastic. __________________

Man, I need to force mom to watch with me more often, she's a hoot!
Mom: Who is that? Me: Who? Mom: The blonde! Me: Oh that's Donna. She used to be a redhead. Mom: Well that's horrible! later.... Mom: She looks so old now. Then after Eric comes back with the jersey... Mom: Did they replace the son? Me: Um, no... why? Mom: He looks different. Me: I think he's been eating more. Mom: No, I meant the face. Me: What the hell are you talking about? (I hate having convos while I'm trying to watch) Mom: He used to look like a dork. I choked on a french fry. Then later she commented that Eric'd need to eat a lot more to be able to beat up that Packers fan. And that Jackie and Fez would make a cute couple. And asked if Kelso was retarded (literally). She loved the outro though, laughed all through the boxing weight class thing and then the ending "I made ten dollars!" I miss the beginning, so I don't know why the guys were all so interested in going to the game when Kelso and Fez looked like they couldn't have cared less. Jackie too for that matter. Of course, those three were mostly absent.... but then that goes along with not really caring they were missing the game. I don't know. We need another season of THIS? __________________

The J/H parts... wow. Loved them. The end (The "Want a ride home?" part) broke my heart. Danny and Mila were great there. They were so on. And Tiny Dancer... I loved that they used Tiny Dancer. And Mila looked gorgeous! Loved the hat, the hair, everything.
The rest really wasn't bad, either, on season seven standards. Enjoyable overall. |

Emma: That part sucked. When I saw her crying, I felt that twinge inside and I just wanted to hug her and cry with her. Because she so DOES loooove him. ANd the end, where she said she would walk...broke my heart again.
God this sucks. Eric was funny, so that made it allll better. __________________

Eric beating that guy up would never happen, but that just made me laugh harder. And damn, Bob doesn't kid around when he grabs asses. I mean, he just LATCHED ON. Overall, thumbs up for a season seven. I'm definitely delightfully surprised. __________________
