   She's more or less cast now.   I ended up overexposing Mac in order to get Mila in a better light. I think he's got a fair enough complexion though that it suits him well.     More from toys for tots event in a second. I think my cupcakes are burnin. __________________

see, I'm not sure if people brought their own animals or if these were rescue animals. Because Shannon and her hubby posed with like, three of them, but then the curiously deformed Lance Bass also posed with the Schotzie dog, and I think Shannon and... whatever his name is, posed with the same dog as Kurtwood... so... and we all know she has like seventy billion adopted dogs at home.

ASHTON FALLS IN LOVE: Ashton Kutcher is in final talks to make the Disney comedy A Lot Like Love his next big-screen venture. According to The Hollywood Reporter, that '70s Show star would play the other half of a twentysomething couple who find each other at the wrong time. Kutcher is currently auditioning potential leading ladies — under the watchful eye of Demi, no doubt. In related news to that movie: Katie Holmes has been caught in the light of the Bat signal. Sources said the actress is close to being cast opposite Christian Bale in Warner Bros. Pictures' new Batman movie, which is being directed by Christopher Nolan. She would play Rachel, the love interest in the film, and her casting is said to be contingent on a screen test. In addition to the Batman project, Holmes also is the top choice for "A Lot Like Love" at Beacon Pictures. If she takes a role in the Warner Bros. franchise, Beacon likely will move on to another actress because both projects are scheduled to shoot around the same time. Holmes gained widespread popularity as Joey on the WB Network's "Dawson's Creek." She gained movie credibility by appearing in "The Ice Storm," "Go," "Wonder Boys" and "The Gift." Holmes, repped by CAA, is onscreen in United Artists' "Pieces of April." Looks like Katie could be Ashton's love interest? __________________
