I don't read fics much either, Steph.

I used to read and write Gilmore Girls fics all the time when it was in its first run, but I haven't done it so much with any shows I like now.

I prefer to write fics more than read. Because I have a hard time focusing to read something... Even short texts

I like to write ... but I have trouble with fiction. I was a journalist for too long.

Yep. I started in high school and was managing editor of my college paper, and I started as a stringer at the hometown papers in our area when I was 18 and I did that until I was like 23. Then I decided I didn't want to be on deadline 24/7 the rest of my life, so I switched it to a PR Major.

I'm actually a triple major -- English, PR, Marketing.

You do something I would love to do. My dream would be become a writer/fashion or tv journalist or editor, but in Italy there isn't all the possibility that you have in US. Because we don't have any school newspapers, or any of that clubs or something dedicated to one career in particular (at least in public schools...). I'm attending College and in Sept I'll switch from Liberal Arts to specifically major in text translation and to become an interpreter in the Foreign Laguages department of my same Uni, since I am good at this stuff. But still, it's not directly aimed to that career I want to pursue. It's all messed up here... :/ I am 22 and theorically I should had a degree this year, but we are confused and it's PUBLIC and I especially pay really not much, and so the service is poor.
