He didn't enjoy dancing with anyone that evening. Poor Nate, his life is so filled with complications.

It was so interesting to me, because he was dancing with Blair, but kept looking at Carter. It seemed pretty obvious that Blair thought he still wasn't over Serena, and she was like, "we're friends now, you can tell me..."

I know I read too much into things, but in a way, I thought it kind of foreshadowed that the next time Nate gets back to loving Serena, Blair wouldn't mind so much.

I just can't help but love little emo-prone always in the dumps Natie-poo. He's strong but weak, nice but can inadvertently wreak havoc with a girl's feelings...he's just so conflicted and like a real high-school guy.

I COMPLETELY and TOTALLY agree that Blair's non-plussedness was foreshadowing.

I'm repeating myself like crazy but I am starting to think that NS may be the longest running, slowest build couple in the making on this show---and that's pretty epic.

Haha, it would be awesome if Josh could manage that, because he usually doesn't understand the concept of "taking it slow." I really LOVE long-building couples, since their the ones who would have NO problems if they could just hook up in the first place, lol.

haha, so true- Josh and taking it slow doesnt really go together.

N and S clearly have feelings for each other, presented to the audience very subtly. But I think that they've been in denial for so long that they may indeed need a little help in seeing the love for themselves. They've tried so hard to convince themselves they're just friends because they are so afraid of hurting everyone. They have that in common... they are both so selfless.
