Yeah, that just proves how great they are. Even with so little screentime..their chemistry is undeniable. Best couple on the show, no doubt about it.

I just want them to at least have scenes. Ed & Leighton are up there but Chace & Blake have THE MOST chemistry onscreen. Even people who aren't fans of them say that!

I don't see the chemistry between Chace and Leighton, Vanessa or Taylor for that matter. Like he seems to just shine when he's with Blake!

Nate/Serena=HOTNESS. N/V, D/S= SNOOZE. They have hardly any screentime, but they have the most chemistry.

Just have to do a little "defending" *hides*:

I think Chace/Blake and Ed/Leighton have a very different type of chemistry. NS is more star-crossed longing and it comes across in their forlorn intense looks, yet they also have the fun flirty vibe going. CB, on the other hand, is way more of a "take me now" kind of thing, a kind of love/hate spark that won't go away.

So I don't know who I would say has the most chemistry, but I do agree they are both at the top of the list. However, I also liked NV and even NJ to an extent. I think Chace has the MOST chemistry (out of the girls) with Blake, but the only one I think he lacks it with is Leighton. And maybe that's on purpose?

ITA!! Either way, I FLOVE, FLOVE NS!!!! I love on-screen Chace with Blake, they are love, I love their chemistry, it's just so incredibly astounding (or their acting about this chemistry is the most incredible acting I have ever, ever seen in my life, ha, ha, which it is, but again the CHEMISTRY can not be faked). I love the NS story, potential story. I also flove CB and their chemistry is amazing too. I feel different things when I see NS (flirty, wistful, sexy, passionate, sweet, hot) vs. CB (slightly dangerous, passionate, biting, hot) , both equally amazing and it's like together (fab four, CBNS), the show would be over the top for me. I also liked NV and NJ, but NS is just out of the universe amazing.

okay, I used the word chemistry too much

. but when it's there, it's such a gift for us viewers

I think Chace/Leighton could have chemistry but that their relationship was supposed to be stiff - Nate was not very invested, Blair was living a bit in a fantasy world, one that Nate could not satisfy

I always seem to favor the 'star crossed lovers' couple who have loads of chemistry, rather than the couples that get along all the time, but are like brother and sister, and have no chemistry. N/S have the most chemistry, FACT. I don't think anyone can deny that.

well, you just love NS, awesome!

and it is a fact they are so chemically fantatastic!

I think that some people here and who read our thread love CB along with NS, so we want to be inclusive of that. that's all bunny

Exactly, Daphne. It makes no sense for two charismatic actors to just fall flat onscreen together, so I'm pretty sure they act it in that manner on purpose.

I do think chemistry is about acting, to a degree. In a play where you have a romantic interest, they always tell you to find one thing you like about the other person physically and focus on it while in a scene with them. So I think that the chemistry between most couples is planned to a certain degree, and HOW much chemistry there is depends on your acting skills.

C/B are pretty hot, I admit that

Maybe it's my dislike for these actual characters that is holding me back from properly shipping them. N/S will always be my ultimate couple

I did see some with NV but (I hope its not bashing to say..) I saw absolutely zero chemistry between NJ which is probably the main why I think it's stupid to have a storyline of them together!

Anyways, I agree about the CB love hate thing! Thats the vibe they always give off but its awesome because you never know what to expect from them

THat's very interesting! I do think two superb actors could probably make it appear as if they have amazing chemistry even if they do not actually feel it as long as they minimally like each other or are friends.

For NS, for me, their chemistry seems special because I get the impression that it is beyond just acting, I actually feel that Blake and Chace themselves have this chemistry and that I am privy to it when watching them be NS --- of course, I can not really know this and can only speculate but it just grabs me, each and every time. I am transported to that special place where it's exciting for me. I also know, of course, from BTS that Blake & Chace get along, their body language speaks "chemistry" to me in photos. It just does. So while the end result of NS IS equal CB in terms of actual on-screen chemistry in terms of what I see, in my mind, the way Chace/Blake got there vs Ed/Leighton get there is different.

Eta: Let me be frank, I probably would believe that Chace could have chemistry with anything: a log, mannequin or even kissing his own hand. Ed could have chemistry with a rock too. Yeah, I have a problem like that.
