| Yeah I just finished that book for English and kept picturing Lily Van der Woodson as Lily Bart. Although I rooted Lily to be with the richer guy he was more honest. Any way my avitar makes me ice crave coffee. I don't think there is a clear answer as who is the end game on GG. Its hard to tell in the first season. I think N/S will have problems with D and B not so much N's family issues because I do think his family will like S I mean she has money. | |||

| 'Claire, I assume your name is Claire from your username? Correct me if I'm wrong?! Anyway, I got into them the minute the promo/sneak peek was released. Chuck was what got me to watch the show and then NS + CB. ' Yup, it is.  I actually got into them quite a bit later... I mean, until CB came along, I didn't really care about the ships on GossipGirl so much. I was even NB for a bit, just cuz we had like NO NS for a while. I think I fell in love with 'em after the Thanksgiving episode? I can't even remember, hehe. In the books, the first time I read them, I was NS, then the second time, NB, and now NS and have been on repeated readings. | |||

| Thanks for the new thread. I fell in love with them from the first time they came into contact in the books - they're the reason I watched the show. Because from the books, I had no interest in Dan, Jenny or Vanessa. Chuck was FF material. And I was on and off with Blair, because I preferred NS. Then the promo's came on for GG and I was sold on them. They had that forbidden love thing down pat. Of course the show switched some of my love around (GO C/B!) but I stuck with NS and still can't stand Dan, Jenny or Vanessa that much, lol. Just to catch up, my favorite scene between them would probably be the head nod at the brunch. It was just sexy and forbidden and gah! The flashback episode also rocked my socks as well. There was nothign that wasn't love about that episode and NS in it. Serena loved her Nate, and he so loved her back. Beautiful!
