| I'm gonna say, we should just wait til it nears when the cast will actually begin filming for Season 2 than listen to things on message boards. First off, the first season just ended, and really who knows what roads the writers will take. Plus, us, the viewers havent really got a chance to see what Serena and Nate will bring on screen and really develop into a full blown relationship in episodes to come since they did spend the summer together. I mean, we got a glimpse of that hookup at that wedding and some glimpse of feelings here and there and some awkwardness, but as an audience we have never dived into Serena's feelings for Nate on the show. I think in the novels yea, but not on the show. All we know right now is Nate's feelings for Serena, which til right now have been unrequited because of previous circumstances which are nonissue right now and I'll say Serena and Nate are fair game, moving forward and with each other, for better I say. I mean, love the Chuck and Blair coupling too. In my opinion, the Dan and Serena, I really didn't buy into them. It seem very contrived and rushed without any really development. I mean, trust and acceptance and constant communication and understanding was very invisible in the Dan/Serena relationship, which is sad especially for after Serena apologized and is constantly trying to better herself, he writes her off immediately and making her the villain after he of all people did hook up with Georgina.
Serena and Nate grew up together, so naturally feelings would develop that stemmed from a lifelong friendship even though, placed by their parents' will that Nate was supposed to be with Blair, but alas' Nate was in love with Serena and I think she felt the same but conflicted too. Plus, Nate and Serena you got to love their communication, their acceptance of who each other is, the naturalness of their chemistry, and that they can totally be themselves around the other. Thats love and hopefully the writers will build that up. It would be awesome to see. |
