i know what you mean... i was a teeny tiny teeny bopper during the live airing of the original 90210. i'm still pissed off that they only slightly ship teased and never truly explored brandon and andrea. i want my brainy brunettes together!

compiling this Soundtrack Pool was a serious challenge. I was actually making a personal playlist for myself originally using only the songs used on the show (like a canon-compliant AU playlist, if that makes any sense), then this whole thread 100 thing started to look like a reality and i've been compiling songs with the idea of updating the Soundtrack some weeks back. And then the handhold episode came then boom the idea became official. Then of course one soundtrack ended up being too confining (i had 43 songs for only 10 slots?!?). then this project became what it is now. it looks like we might have someone that will do the art work for the album covers soon enough.

and i'm still holding a separate contest for the Spoken Word category, but i figure that the actual Soundtrack Vote In needs to actually play out first. i personally have all the songs on my player and it plays constantly and i'm still trying to decide which ones are my top 8.

God I'm already losing hope in DB !! I'll forever love them, no doubt. But I'm scared they're gonna do a season 2 and have Blair jump from Dan to Louis to Chuck in just a matter of episodes !!

OK shippers, i asked around before if 48 hours is enough time for everyone to think about the Vote In and participate. I'm suggesting that the Vote In period be extended to Friday next week, March 11. This gives everyone enough time to download all the songs (in whatever way you will do it), plug it into your mp3 player, listen to the list while reading fic or rewatching all the clips the next XX times. Would suggest not to look at the fanvids though because that's kinda unfair to the songs that have not yet been used for fanvids. Then come up with your list.....

I too was a teen in that era, but I never felt invested in any couples on 90210 or Melrose Place the way I do about Dan/Blair. They make me feel like a teenager again...

to be fair, i didn't even know what i was doing was shipping way back then. i was only ever really invested in pacey and joey when they happened. i was just silently holding a torch for andrea and brandon... till they just married her off.

all the ships i've ever invested in after pacey and joey have been doomed. Logan and Veronica. John Connor and Cameron. Bloody poofed Kara and Lee. I'm still traumatized by Kara and Lee. i'm just so glad that Inception ended so ambiguously i can always dream that Dom and Ariadne will eventually be. Dan and Blair is the only TV ship I feel invested in right now that is actually still airing.

by the way, i'm going to leave you a review for your fic, now that i know that you're the writer.
