So while re-watching I noticed that when Nate goes to see Serena and Serena's mom is talking about Serena loving him and having a crush on him he has a smile on and it goes away when she says "but you and blair are the perfect couple", and he just goes "mm.."

Yup, that makes me smile.

And when Chuck said something about a broken heat, Nate automatically assumed her was talking about Serena.
