Welcome to the Defectives thread, the home of all those who love the idea of Blair Waldorf & Chuck Bass together. We started as few, never imagining our desire would really be fulfilled, but slowly our numbers grew as more people realised the potential behind this explosive pairing. And then there was the limo and the pairing really exploded. Blair Waldorf is outwardly confident, has a fiery nature and does what it takes to get what she wants. Chuck gets what he wants because he's rich and knows how to take. When the two come together the results are always interesting. These two really understand, respect and admire each other. The necklace scene had every set up for being not as romantic as it turned out. Seriously. Every time I watch that scene, I feel that it's the most romantic scene I've seen in a good while. I mean, Chuck wasn't trying to charm her into submission, he was just trying to cheer her up and I think you could see a lot of her own insecurities shine through in that scene, all her complexes and everything. PERFECTION.
