1) Because Serena and Blair are sisters, and they really will be through marriage.
2) Because Lily did NOT have to marry Bart; she chose to.
3) Because Serena is sorry for getting Chuck kicked out of the vdB suite.
4) Because Bart knows about Lily and Rufus and still married her.
5) Because Bart tries to get to know Serena and Eric.

I'm really hoping they play around with the 'family' aspect that they created. Serena and Eric haven' had a father figure in their lives that we've seen, and Chuck has sorely been missing a strong maternal figure. I want to see those relationships explored.

i couldn't agree more!! i really hope they have the VdB as one of the main staples of the show. i love how they interact with each other especially C/E/S.
ive just noticed by looking in the OP that E/S have both called C for help etc awww!! i just love them!! perhaps a little too much - but i don't think thats possible lol

Although I'm not an LB shipper, I love this family so much, their chemistry is amazing. I don't want it to be end game (clearly, check out my sig), but guh theyr'e so much fun! I want plenty more scenes of them in season 2.
