You hate Sam? Really? I like Sam mainly because I like Jared.. and I do find him very cute.

So no Rachel/Sam and Brooke/Dean, got it. To be honest, I don't really know how to write either of those pairings so I wasn't really going to go there anyways!

I'm going to see what Mari has to say and then I'll respond to both of you.

I'm working on "It's not such a terrible life" anyways.. and the next vignette will be EPIC.. so stay tuned.

Can't wait for new chapters seems interesting. About pairing, I'm not a fan of Sam either and I don't really care about others except for R/D ( I can't deal with that)) but I don't like R/S pairing. As friends I'm okay with that but as a couple no no!! I'm not really comfortable with brothers hitting on one girl and her on brothers. I can even force myself to stand Brooke/Dean and that's not for a long time in order to make Rach jealous or something like that always makews things interesting for me. Never been a fan of Brucas but they don't annoy me so I'm okay with other pairings.

But I totally agree with Bru about that this is your fic and you should decide how to write and what pairs are you comfortable with! I loved the first chapter and I'm gonna read other chapters too. So I'll be waiting what' you'll decide!

hahahahaa Iz, you don't have to stop writing about those two couples because I hate them. It's my opinion, you don't have to agree with it. I'm sure there are characters and UC couples out there that you hate too, I just happen to feel this way about Sam and Brooke. People have different opinions about TV characters, that is mine, just that.

Well, as a writer, I try to understand the characters that I am writing and if that means trying them with different pairings I do try to do that. That being said, there are my preferred pairings (Rachel/Dean, Haley/Nathan) but I do occasionally like to try to new pairings.

To be honest, I have a very hard time writing Brooke/Dean for anything long-term, for reasons already discussed. I also have a hard time writing Rachel/Sam because I think Rachel/Dean are so much better suited to each other

I, do, however, like to engage with my readers and to test out different ideas. So even if people do provide me with input, I still take it into consideration... but thanks for the ideas anyways!

I try to make my fics somewhat believable- I don't like writing a perfect relationship, and I certainly don't like write fics without context.. some people just like to pair Dean/Haley together with no explanation or Dean/Brooke together.. you read the fic and they're immediately hunting with the brothers and they're perfect and good at the hunt.

Like in BfA, I like to show the characters' weaknesses, but I'm still sympathetic.

Anyways, the next updates will be to "It's not such a terrible life" - it'll be a while before I get back in gears to write "what if it all means something" and BfA.

In the next vignette for the AUVerse will introduce an AU version of the Tree Hill gang- so stay tuned!

I'll have all my favorite OTH pairings in there.

Iz I loved "southern comfort". I just love how you draw characters, their feelings and actions. So realistic and I love that in your fics.
This one is just 1 chapter or will there be moe??
And how is going "What If It All Means Something"?

Y'know, I like that I have a smaller but more dedicated readership- I've been lucky to have at least 6 people read most of my fics on a regular basis, and they are all R/D shippers or J/D shippers in some form!

Thanks for leaving comments about "Southern Comfort" - it is a one-shot that was meant to be in the "Reflections Road" timeline but before "Breaking from Abeyance". I really enjoyed writing "Southern Comfort" as well - it was much darker than my other fics and it's a lot more physical (I'm still not completely comfortable writing physical scenes yet!) but I still wanted to capture their emotions and what Rachel was going through. I can totally see the two of them resolving their issues that way.

I am in a bit of a writer's block with "What if it all means something", so I have been working on "It's not such a terrible life" (did you check out chapter 3A yet, ladies?) and "Breaking from Abeyance". I will update those next. I've been pretty busy lately, but I haven't abandoned those projects- my goal is to finish "BfA", at least. I had 10 vignettes planned in mind for "INSATL" but it'll be a while before I finish all of them.

Since I'm basing it on different flavors of different cities, I have to do some research first.

Thanks for being such loyal readers- it makes me so happy that people enjoy my fic!
