I started compiling my own list of why we love J/D, so here it is- feel free to post into the OP, mods!

Oh, and this is applicable to Jensen and Danneel, Rachel and Dean, and Priestly and Tish:

Reasons Why We Love Jensen/Danneel, Priestly/Tish, and Dean/Rachel
1. Rachel and Dean are both tough on the outside and more vulnerable on the inside.
2. All manifestations of J/D, P/T, and D/R are photogenic and they look great together.
3. Admit it- they would have gorgeous kids!
4. Because this would be the CW crossover that brings sexy back 
5. Because Rachel always loves a bad boy with attitude and a cool car!
6. Because Dean always loves a girl with “great TNA” and Rachel has that!
7. Because Dean and Rachel are both mouthy and cocky and would be great competition for each other.
8. Because Rachel and Dean are both huge flirts and if they met, would flirt with each other endlessly.
9. Because Rachel and Dean are both fiery and feisty and both like someone who has fire inside of them.
10. Because when Rachel and Dean meet, their chemistry will just be off the charts!
11. Because Dean and Rachel could fall in love with each other
12. Because Rachel can bring out the protective side of Dean.
13. Because Dean can bring out the caring side of Rachel.
14. Because Rachel could make all of Dean’s previous love interests seem boring and plain
15. Because Dean could save Rachel from herself. 
16. Because Dean and Rachel can make each other happy.
17. Because Rachel would be Dean’s vixen and he would be her lover.
18. Because Rachel could cause Dean to be lovestoned.
19. Because Rachel/Dean are the Hunters: Rachel hunts guys and Dean hunts ghosts!
20. Because Rachel would make Dean go for a redhead

21. Because admit it, Dean would love a cheerleader

22. Because Rachel is a loyal friend and would be a loyal girlfriend to the right guy (Dean)
23. Because the Impala shouldn’t be Dean’s only baby
24. Because Rachel would look great posing with Dean’s Impala
25. Because Dean can be Rachel’s hero
26. Because Dean and Rachel can argue and fight, but they will always love each other.
27. Because Rachel and Dean can be softies, with the right person.
28. Because Dean would be a very protective boyfriend.
29. Because Rachel could make Dean complete.
30. Because Dean would appreciate the fact that his girlfriend made the cover of Maxim while she was still in high school!
31. Because they both like to be bad!
32. Because we like reading and writing fics about them!
33. Because Jensen deserves a smart and supportive partner and that’s who Danneel is.
34. Because Danneel deserves a down-to-earth hottie and that’s who Jensen is.
35. Because they always like to hold hands (especially at conventions) 
36. Because Danneel adores Jensen (reference to their MBV premiere pictures) 
37. Because Danneel called her boyfriend one of her top priorities 
38. Because Jensen said that calling Danneel on a daily basis was one of his priorities
39. Because the way Jensen smiles at her is adorable (TIH behind the scenes footage) 
40. Because of the way that Jensen looks at Danneel 
41. Because “it is SO obvious how much he loves her” and “it was blatant he adores Danneel” (fan encounters)
42. Because they were friends for 4 years before they started dating!
43. Because they’re celebrating 3 years of being together!
44. Because Jensen thinks that being in a long-distance relationship with Danneel is “worth it” 
45. Because he bought her a rare opal in Australia to commemorate their trip 
46. Because he takes her on low-key but romantic dates like the zoo and to the beach while they’re overseas, like in Australia 
47. Because they both make each other happy 
48. Because they look at each other and listen carefully to what the other has to say (fan observations)
49. Because Jensen wants Dean to have a love scene or end up with a woman played by Danneel
50. Because she goes to all his conventions to support her man without drawing attention to herself because it’s his weekend and she loves him! 
51. Because he’ll BRING her to all his conventions and ask her to stay with him as he signs autographs 
52. Because he’s happy when fans make a genuine effort to be nice and to get to know her
53. Because Danneel likes funny guys and Jensen’s hilarious
54. Because she’s met his parents and his family
55. Because they still do cutesy couple-ish stuff even after being together for close to 2.5 years, such as clasp hands and kiss each other and give each other mini back rubs.
56. Because “his face lit up when she entered the room” (according to fan encounters)
57. Because she went to every showing of his play “A Few Good Men” and sat through all of it to support him!

61. Because even Kismet (Danneel’s dog) adores Jensen! 
62. Because Priestly would tackle a guy who mistreated Tish even with no fighting skills of his own.
63. Because Priestly is the only guy who likes Tish beyond her looks and body
64. Because Priestly would be a great boyfriend for Tish
65. Because Priestly deserves a chance with the prom queen.
66. Because Tish and Priestly have chemistry!
67. Because Tish is the only one who would put an order in Priestly’s Mohawk

68. Because Tish and Priestly have some priceless scenes together in Ten Inch Hero
69. Because Priestly would buy tampons for Tish anytime.
70. Because Jensen and Danneel have great chemistry on screen together
71. Because Jensen and Danneel are both down-to-earth, easygoing, grounded people from the South!
72. Because Danneel named Jensen as the #1 if there was ever a Maxim 100 Hot Guys list
73. Because she says cute things to him on the phone like “I’ll see you in a little while; I love you.”
74. Because Jensen said that at conventions that he loves Danneel!
75. Because they own a puppy together! (Icarus!)
76. Because Danneel will sit and wait for Jen to sign autographs all afternoon and be supportive
77. Because Danneel will travel around the world with Jensen to spend time with him
78. Because he called her “honey” in front of all his fans at a fan convention
79. Because THEY’RE ENGAGED!
80. Because he bought her a beautiful engagement ring
81. Because they spend Thanksgiving together
