^ The court scenes of Ray/Donna when Kelly and Val were arguing about Brandon/David/Colin were intense!

I'm onto 5x06 and Kelly recently accused Val of smoking pot, but it all got twisted into a "Kelly's hard on new people" narrative

Yeah, I did not like that. Kelly was hard on the new people and "had instincts" about those who did not try to kiss her ass. I do not remember her being hard on those who were sucking up to her at the same time when she was suspicious about Kevin, Suzzane, Val, Toni, Susan etc. Why was she not suspicious about John Sears, Lucinda, Finley, Colin or Tara? They did so much damage to her, and all of them showed up in S4-6, like the characters she was "hard on" and "had instincts about". But yeah, they were flattering her, so no instincts activated!

Yeah, for sure. Especially the Colin thing... Who I'm still convinced she brought home to show off as a way to pretend she was over Dylan and Brandon.

As for Finley, they always try to play that off as "she was vulnerable and taken advantage of" (which is true to some extent) but come on, he was acting like a huge creeper the entire time he knew her

Not to mention trying to separate her from Brandon just because he wanted Dylan's money. I can buy that Kelly was in a bad place at the time due to the fire, but they totally made her look ridiculous at that point. You can be vulnerable AND smart at the same time.
