Now thinking of the title, they were the opposites, but they also had a lot in common. Mommy issues, well, daddy issues too, they were sarcastic, humorous, openly sexual, sort of spoiled, mean, but with good hearts.

Well, they are my favorite after BD and BK - I wanted more of these two.
Ian and Kathleen had unique chemistry. If Kathleen came from the start, they would be hugely popular

Maybe they would not, because Steve was a different character in the beginning. Not so likeable.

I wonder what it would like had Clare been there instead of Andrea from the beginning.

I think Clare at the beginning would be interesting and I think Clare and Steve will have a lot of comical arguments but get it together later on

I didn't like Steve in the first 2 seasons but from S3 onwards he did become my 2nd favorite character on the show after Brandon

I sort of wish they had two brainiac girls in there from the beginning - one more shy (Andrea), and the other more confident (Clare). And I would not mind either of them with Steve.

Andrea would have been great for Steve for sure. Clare was the one I loved with Steve but I can view Andrea and Steve as long term potential (more than Brandon and Andrea)

I can see almost all of the combinations - Clare/Steve, Andrea/Steve, Andrea/Brandon, Brandon/Steve, Clare/Andrea . Maybe not Clare/Brandon. She was too strong-headed and self-confident for him. And I'm talking about post-S4 Clare, actually.

I think Clare/Dylan would be interesting.

Well, given the development of Gabby in the reboot and of Andrea in the reboot inside the reboot... I'd say Clare is exactly the type of girl I think she would go for.

And I can totally see Clare as bisexual.
