I know some people like Steve/Janet and I would probably say in the last 2 seasons, they were one of the better couples after Donna/David.

It does come down to preferences and I feel Steve's best match was Clare. I didn't mind him and Kelly, and actually thought he was OK with Celeste too. Didn't like him with Carly, Janet, Val, and that police lady in S8

Yeah... I watch season 8 at the moment... he met the police lady on valentines day at the After Dark... same evening than the Val/Noah rape...
I didn't like him with Val in season 5... but I love her frindship based relationship from season 7... ok.. just this one time at that party after graduation... kinda friends with benefits... ^^ They always bring each other to laugh... but I disn't like how he acted in this rape time... Love him with clare... janet... And Andrea (unfortunately they never get the chance...  ) |
